Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kania Cup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Slice might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 21. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kimbo Slice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kania Cup! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slice lands a nice looking body shot.
Cup is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Slice connects with a right hand. Cup shakes it off.
It looks like Kania Cup has been cut. Cup throws a low kick, looking for Slice's leg but Slice calmly moves out of range. Cup moves into range and clinches up with Slice. Slice lands with a short shot to the head. Slice lands with a short head shot on the inside. A short left from Slice. Slice throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Cup drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cup tries for a takedown. No joy.
Slice controlling the action here for a moment.
A short right from Slice on the inside. Slice lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slice lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Cup's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Cup is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Cup jumps into guard, dragging Slice to the mat.
Cup is still in real trouble! Can Slice finish him? Slice looking to pass the guard. Slice sitting in guard, not really doing much. Cup seems to have recovered his senses. Cup has his foot on Slice's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slice works his way back into a safe position though. Cup keeping full guard, as Slice tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cup not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cup is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Slice is controlling him.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Slice drives through and clinches with Cup against the cage.
Cup tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Slice smiles and moves away.
Kimbo Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kania Cup. The crowd cheers as Slice lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cup doesn't seem phased though. Slice scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cup doesn't seem bothered though. Slice seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Cup drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Slice moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Slice smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Slice drops Cup with a naaaaasty hook - Cup is in real trouble here! Slice dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kimbo Slice! A victorious Kimbo Slice thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Doe! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramsey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ramsey shoots for a double leg takedown but Doe sprawls well. He's pushed Ramsey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ramsey shoots in for a takedown but Doe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rowda Ramsey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ramsey has his takedown stuffed and Doe counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Rowda Ramsey has been cut. Doe looks to land a body kick but Ramsey moved away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramsey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Doe counters with a good, hard body kick but Ramsey shrugs it off. Doe keeps the fight on the outside. Ramsey fails with the takedown and Doe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramsey dives in and grabs Doe's left leg, looking for a takedown. Doe pushes down on Ramsey's head and hops out. Doe throws a hook to the side of Ramsey's head but Ramsey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ramsey is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Doe throws out a counter right but Ramsey avoids it with no problem. A combination from Ramsey does no damage. Ramsey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Doe defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ramsey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Ramsey looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And Doe responds with a good body kick, but Ramsey manages to step out the way in time. Ramsey steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Doe. That one must have hurt. Doe misses with a hook
and Ramsey counters with a series of strikes. Doe will be more careful next time no doubt. Doe stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Doe wants it to stay on the feet. Some bone on bone action there as Doe checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Ramsey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Doe flicks out a counter leg kick but Ramsey steps away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe feints and then cracks Ramsey's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ramsey down. Doe misses with an attempted mid kick.
Doe finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Doe looks to land a body kick but Ramsey moved away. Ramsey is looking for a counter combo. Ramsey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ramsey fails with the takedown enabling Doe to counter with a crisp jab. Ramsey misses with a takedown attempt - Doe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A little jabbing left from Doe on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ramsey shoots in for a double leg but Doe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramsey tries to clinch but Doe moves away and Doe counters with a straight right hand. Ramsey shoots and misses and Doe counters with a nice body kick. Ramsey is breathing heavily. Ramsey doesn't succeed with the takedown and Doe counters with a crisp right that sends Ramsey to the canvas! Doe follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Doe! After the fight, John Doe was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saitou wants to clinch and Takeshi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Saitou doesn't succeed with the takedown and Takeshi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Saitou has his takedown stuffed and Takeshi counters with a lovely straight right hand! Saitou takes one to the chin there. Saitou takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice left hand lands by Takeshi.

I was talking to Takeshi's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Takeshi lands a hook that snaps the head of Saitou backwards. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Saitou wants to get back to striking at distance but Takeshi won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takeshi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Saitou's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Saitou gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Takeshi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Saitou is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Takeshi Saitou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Saitou doesn't manage to clinch there - Takeshi circles away.
Saitou shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Takeshi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Saitou stuffs the takedown attempt from Takeshi. Takeshi gets slowly back to his feet. Takeshi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Saitou rushes Takeshi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Takeshi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Takeshi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A head kick by Saitou misses enabling Takeshi to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takeshi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Takeshi. Takeshi shoots in for a takedown but Saitou shows good takedown defense. Saitou shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Saitou was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Saitou looks winded! Takeshi tries to get back to half guard but can't. Takeshi can't do much from the bottom here. What's Takeshi going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Saitou tries for a kimura but Takeshi is defending well. Saitou wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Takeshi, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action here. An elbow from Saitou crashes against the mat.
Takeshi struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Takeshi managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Saitou.
Takeshi is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Saitou wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Takeshi, who protects the arm well. Saitou working the body and head with strikes. Who's going to make the next move? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Saitou is trying to get an arm triangle but Takeshi is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Saitou looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Takeshi is fending him off so far but Saitou persists. Nope, Takeshi circles away and we're back to standing. Takeshi lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Saitou with a lazy takedown attempt letting Takeshi counter with a right hand. Takeshi cracks Saitou with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Takeshi fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Saitou to the ground. Takeshi is now in Saitou's guard. Saitou wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Takeshi manages to pass to side control.
Takeshi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Saitou blocking the ground and pound attempt from Takeshi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saitou has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Takeshi is working away from the top position though. Still in half guard, Takeshi seems content to control. Takeshi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Saitou defends it well. Takeshi decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Saitou shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Takeshi counters with a nice uppercut. Takumi Takeshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takeshi Saitou.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takeshi circles away from the clinch attempt and Saitou takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Saitou misses with a takedown and Takeshi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Takeshi Saitou is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Saitou is breathing heavily. Takeshi connects with a body shot. Takeshi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Saitou tries to kick Takeshi off in order to stand up. Takeshi Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Saitou looks to move to half guard but instead Takeshi has passed into mount! Damn!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saitou is just holding on here. Takeshi manages to take his back.
Takeshi looking for the choke but no joy. Takeshi controlling the position well here. Saitou rolled but Takeshi kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Saitou is trying to get back to his feet but Takeshi has full control of the position and if anything, Saitou has just worked his way into a worse spot. Saitou tries to break free.
Takeshi working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Saitou won't enjoy being in this position. Takeshi looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Saitou is tapping - it's over boys! Takeshi picks up the submission victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Takumi Takeshi! Takumi Takeshi very nearly forgot to thank Arcticus University: London amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sius wants to stay close but Nakamura steps back to make room for something. Sius seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Nakamura and Sius drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Fiji Nakamura! Fiji Nakamura got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Sublime Paralytic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kupa looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! The Sublime Paralytic drops Kupa with a beautiful combination! Kupa stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - The Sublime Paralytic is looking for the KO!
Kupa is rocked! The Sublime Paralytic has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Kupa walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Kupa limp body while The Sublime Paralytic jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Apolinario The Sublime Paralytic! A very excited looking Apolinario The Sublime Paralytic made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kamiya tries to keep at a distance but Sangchaan has taken the fight into the clinch. Sangchaan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kamiya pulls him back up using the underhooks. Sangchaan pushes Kamiya back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Kamiya throws an elbow that misses.
Sangchaan content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Kamiya is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sangchaan is defending well for now. Sangchaan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Sangchaan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Kamiya looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sangchaan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kamiya, up you get! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good leg kick by Kamiya there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kamiya uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sangchaan has time to react. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Kamiya. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kamiya feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sangchaan's calf.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kamiya scoring well with a low kick there.
Kamiya throws a head kick that half lands.
Sangchaan is rocked! Sangchaan gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Kamiya gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Sangchaan is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maki Kamiya! A less than humble Maki Kamiya misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elkoski keeps Nyatok at a distance using the push kick. Elkoski throws a series of punches but Nyatok avoids them all with ease. Nyatok is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Elkoski Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Nyatok is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bartek Elkoski! A very excited looking Bartek Elkoski made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fifka shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fifka is keen to just control but Kaen is a slippery customer. Kaen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fifka pulls his head out easily. Fifka wants to control but Kaen is keeping him busy. Kaen wants to control but Fifka is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fifka sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kaen defending well though. Fifka seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kaen has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Fifka is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Kaen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kaen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Fifka is trying to maintain the position but Kaen is very close to passing his half guard. Fifka is looking to get back to is feet but Kaen passes into side control.
Kaen advances to mount. Kaen sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaen thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Fifka tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kaen goes for an armbar but Fifka turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fifka. Fifka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kaen trying to control the position.
Fifka wants to control from the top but Kaen keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kaen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kaen wants to pass the guard but Fifka is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khon Kaen dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Fifka closes the distance and clinches. A nice left hand lands by Kaen.
Fifka is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kaen is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fifka to the mat. Fifka regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Fifka uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Kaen gets a double leg takedown into Fifka's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kaen trying to control the position from guard on top but Fifka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fifka working a defensive guard here.
Kaen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fifka is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kaen, into his guard. Fifka missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Fifka bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Kaen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaen wants to sweep here but Fifka controlling him for the moment. Kaen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Fifka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fifka throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kaen works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kaen keeping moving, preventing Fifka from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fifka missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kaen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fifka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kaen is trying to keep Fifka in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fifka trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fifka showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Fifka trying to control but Kaen is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kaen is on top in guard.

Kaen moves into the clinch. Kaen has Fifka pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kaen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fifka tumbling to the mat - Kaen dives into Fifka's guard. Fifka wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kaen manages to pass to side control. Kaen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kaen is taking a breather. Fifka says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fifka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kaen is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Kaen preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Kaen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fifka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kaen is adopting a defensive guard. Alvin Fifka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Let's hope that Kaen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

And that's the end of the fight! Khon Kaen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kaen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Funkyama stuffs the takedown. Johnson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Funkyama shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A quick step to the side and Funkyama tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Mega Funkyama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Johnson. Funkyama displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Johnson. Funkyama buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Funkyama darts in and clinches Johnson up against the cage. Funkyama is trying to trip Johnson. He has hold of a leg but Johnson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Funkyama persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Funkyama passes Johnson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Funkyama will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Funkyama is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Funkyama in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Johnson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Funkyama!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yauch thuds a left hand into Matsumoto's body. Matsumoto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Adam Yauch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yauch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matsumoto manages to avoid it. Matsumoto keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Yauch misses with a right hand and Matsumoto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Yauch misses the jab. Matsumoto is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Matsumoto steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yauch. Yauch connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Matsumoto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yauch.
Yauch lands a big head kick that sends Matsumoto tumbling to the mat! Yauch takes a step backwards and waves Matsumoto back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Ikuhisa Matsumoto has been cut. Yauch takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Oh Matsumoto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Matsumoto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Yauch swings for the body but Matsumoto moves out of range.

Yauch rushes in and drops Matsumoto with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
