1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam McCullen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zlatan Schevchenko! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCullen throws out a loose jab but Schevchenko uses good head movement to avoid it. Schevchenko keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McCullen. McCullen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Schevchenko. Schevchenko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCullen.
A little jabbing left from Schevchenko on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Schevchenko looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Schevchenko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McCullen darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Schevchenko smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. McCullen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. McCullen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schevchenko manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCullen takes a swing at Schevchenko's ribcage but misses. A jab from McCullen misses. Schevchenko throws a counter combo. and Schevchenko connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sam McCullen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McCullen moves forwards but Schevchenko connects with a nice, crisp jab. McCullen takes a swing at Schevchenko's ribcage but misses. McCullen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Zlatan Schevchenko has been cut. Oooooh!!! McCullen has knocked Schevchenko down with a huge combo! McCullen steps away and waves a wobbly Schevchenko back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Schevchenko is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McCullen lands an uppercut, right on the button! Schevchenko tumbles backwards into the ropes, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Judah manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Yamada on his heels. He'll look to pass Yamada's guard now, I'm sure. Judah trying to control the position from guard on top but Yamada is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yamada on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yamada tries to get out of the position. Yamada looking for a guillotine here but Judah defends easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yamada bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Judah's guard. Yamada is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Judah sees it coming and defends easily. Yamada seems to be working for a kimura but Judah defends the submission attempt. Judah has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Takahashi lands an uppercut. Nice body punch from Takahashi - that landed with a thud.
Aziz jumps guard and drags Takahashi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Takahashi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Aziz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Takahashi is defending well. Aziz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Takahashi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Aziz celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.

Whitehouse manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Xiahou looking to score a takedown here. Whitehouse uses his free foot to push down on Xiahou's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Xiahou. Whitehouse sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Whitehouse trying to control but Xiahou is having none of it. Whitehouse is working for a guillotine from mount but Xiahou frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Xiahou tries to lock up and control but Whitehouse gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Xiahou felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Xiahou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Whitehouse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Xiahou tightens his grip and picks Whitehouse up, before dumping him to the ground. Whitehouse manages to land in guard. Whitehouse manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Whitehouse will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Xiahou takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Whitehouse landing with the ground and pound. Whitehouse wants to control from the top but Xiahou keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Whitehouse passes into half guard. Whitehouse is looking to take a break and control but Xiahou is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Whitehouse looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Whitehouse wants to lay and pray for a moment but Xiahou keeps working. Whitehouse is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
And that's the end of the fight! Scorchio Whitehouse showed his dominance in that final round. Well Whitehouse has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today.
