Power ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hammer moves away.
Power drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Diesel Power has been cut.

Power shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Power was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Power stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Hammer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Power connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Hammer throws a chopping leg kick but Power manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Power lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Power closes the distance and clinches up with Hammer, looking for a takedown. Power pushes Hammer against the cage but Hammer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hammer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hammer looks to land a combination but Power avoids it well.

Power changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hammer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Diesel Power overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Power wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hammer, who protects the arm well.

Diesel Power is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
