Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose Aldo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frankie Dupuit! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aldo shoots in looking for a takedown. Dupuit tries to sprawl out of it but Aldo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dupuit manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Aldo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dupuit manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Aldo on his heels. He'll look to pass Aldo's guard now, I'm sure. Aldo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dupuit is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Aldo. Dupuit throwing shots but missing, from side control. Aldo is not content to let Dupuit control the position. Dupuit moves into full mount! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dupuit looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Aldo regains half guard. Aldo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dupuit pulls his head out easily.

Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Aldo has his hands clasped together but Dupuit breaks the hold and Aldo is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Dupuit!
