3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Diaz! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Vaughan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Diaz doesn't seem phased though. Diaz scores with a hook to the body. Vaughan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Vaughan throws a head kick that misses and Diaz counters with a lovely shot to the body. Diaz lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Diaz. Diaz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Vaughan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Diaz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Diaz misses the jab. Diaz slips a straight right by Vaughan. Diaz fails to land with a series of punches.
Vaughan appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. A slow jab from Diaz misses its intended target. Diaz moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Nog is thwarting Fredholm's attempts to control the position. Nog is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Fredholm still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Fredholm has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Fredholm is trying to get an arm triangle but Nog is defending well. Nog is not content to let Fredholm control the position. Fredholm advances nicely into full mount.

It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nog regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Germano with a jab. Germano bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Germano throws an elbow but Bruza slips to the side and avoids it well. Germano has hold of Bruza's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bruza seems comfortable defending it but Germano has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bruza is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bruza is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Germano couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wacka Flocka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anselmo Harris! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flocka moves out of range of the strikes. Harris slips a straight right by Flocka. Flocka fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Harris is looking to land body kicks. Flocka jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nice shot by Harris. Harris just misses with a punch to the body.
Flocka tries to bum rush Harris with a series of wild strikes but Harris uses good footwork to avoid the assault. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Harris crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Flocka - the referee stops the clock and Harris gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Flocka. Harris manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Harris throws out a loose jab but Flocka uses good head movement to avoid it. Harris closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Flocka to the mat! Flocka manages to get full guard. Harris is looking to work some ground and pound but Flocka has wrist control. Flocka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harris on the ground. Flocka wants to stand but Harris is controlling the position. Harris lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Harris throwing strikes from guard but Flocka blocks nicely. Harris is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Harris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Harris trying to control but Flocka is working from the bottom. Harris prevents Flocka from getting back to his feet. Harris is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Flocka - that will leave a mark!
Flocka throws a jab when Harris was well out of range. Harris ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A nice side step and Harris releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Flocka lands a nice looking kick to the body. Harris takes a step back to recover. Flocka stuffs the takedown attempt from Harris. Harris gets slowly back to his feet. Harris motions for Flocka to come forward. Harris throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Flocka throws a wild body kick that Harris sees coming a mile off. Flocka throws a head kick but Harris moves out of range.
Flocka throws a push kick but Harris slaps the foot to one side. Harris misses with the combination.
Wacka Flocka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Harris walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Harris scores with a jab to the jaw. Harris looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Flocka! Sloppy strikes there by Harris. Flocka being controlled for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Harris working the body and head with strikes. Harris cracks Flocka with a big right hand but Flocka just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Flocka is pushing Harris's head away, looking to escape. Harris manages to hold on to the position though. An elbow from Harris crashes against the mat.
Harris lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Flocka down.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Flocka sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Harris working the ground and pound but Flocka is defending the strikes. Flocka on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Flocka is trying to get back to his feet. Harris throws a strike aimed at the side of Flocka's head but Flocka avoids it well. Harris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Flocka is looking to get back to his feet here but Harris is keeping cool and he's managed to take Flocka's back. Harris has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anselmo Harris dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Harris digs a good body shot into Flocka's ribs. Wacka Flocka is winning the standup battle so far. A slow jab from Harris misses its intended target. Flocka is looking to counter punch. The fighters circle momentarily. Harris darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Harris lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Harris misses with a shot to the body and Flocka makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Anselmo Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Flocka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Harris. Flocka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Flocka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Flocka's corner calls for a 1-2. Flocka obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Harris cracks a nice hook into Flocka's ribs. Flocka throws a head kick but Harris moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action! Harris avoids a kick to the body.
Flocka throws a jab but it's blocked by Harris. Flocka throws a front kick that sends Harris stumbling back into the cage. A big left from Flocka misses. Harris changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris thows a left - swing and a miss! Harris lands with a hook. Flocka tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Flocka misses with a hook. Harris ducked under it nicely. Flocka stuffs the takedown attempt from Harris. Harris gets slowly back to his feet. Flocka looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Harris throws out a counter right but Flocka avoids it with no problem. Flocka lets loose with a powerful body kick. Harris will feel that in the morning. Flocka takes one to the side of the head.
Flocka pushes Harris away with a front kick. Harris clobbers Flocka with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Flocka throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Harris is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Flocka. Harris tries to move into range but Flocka moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Harris has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Flocka. Danga de danga de dang - Harris scores with a four punch combination! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A head kick misses from Flocka. Flocka slips a straight right by Harris.

Harris misses with a wild body shot. Both fighters circling a little - Flocka finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Harris closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Flocka's guard. Harris is in close to Flocka's body, working some short punches and elbows. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Harris working his ground and pound in the gym. Harris sitting in guard here, content to control. Flocka wants to get back to his feet but Harris is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Flocka working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Harris. Flocka is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Harris is controlling him. Harris is looking to work some ground and pound but Flocka has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris landing with the ground and pound. Harris has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Harris postures up and lands a big shot to Flocka's brow. Flocka wants to stand up but Harris is controlling him. Flocka has his feet on Harris's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Flocka lands a head kick. Harris smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Harris fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Flocka looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Harris misses with a wild body shot. Harris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Flocka tries to avoid it but Harris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Flocka to the ground. Flocka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A telegraphed right hand from Harris misses the target. Flocka swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris looks to score with a jab to the body but Flocka is just out of range. A big left from Flocka misses. Harris fails with an attempt to clinch.

Flocka has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Flocka misses with a kick to the body.
Harris fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And Flocka counters with a quick kick to the body but Harris blocks it. Wacka Flocka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anselmo Harris. Harris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Flocka throws out a loose jab but Harris uses good head movement to avoid it. Harris uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Flocka.
A nice side step and Harris releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Flocka throws an overhand right that lands on Harris's shoulder, as Harris tries to avoid the shot. Some wild striking there from Harris.

That was a close second round but I would say that Wacka Flocka will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Not this time. Harris looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Flocka is staying active underneath Harris, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Flocka on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Harris missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Flocka keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Flocka has hold of Harris's hands but Harris slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Harris not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Flocka pushes Harris off but Harris dives into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Flocka can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Harris lands a big elbow. Harris throws some wild stikes that Flocka manages to avoid easily.
Harris pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Flocka is rocked! Harris postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Flocka badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Harris around the waist but Harris pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Harris is the winner by TKO! Harris jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pierno swats away the attempt to clinch by Snellman. Snellman tries to clinch but Pierno moves out of range. Snellman doesn't succeed with the takedown and Pierno counters with a left to the body. Snellman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pierno swats him away and circles back towards the center. Snellman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Snellman tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Pierno counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Snellman is defended easily by Pierno. Pierno has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benton shoots in but Mac Airt avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mac Airt slips under a jab. Benton lands a right hook to the body.

Benton shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Benton showed some decent athleticism there. This has been an exciting period of action! Mac Airt tries to kick Benton off but Benton keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Benton thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mac Airt's head. Benton looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Mac Airt makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Benton is rocked! Benton misses the body punch and Mac Airt counters with a stiff right hand. Oh Benton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Benton shoots in looking for a takedown. Mac Airt tries to sprawl out of it but Benton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mac Airt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mac Airt looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Mac Airt just misses with a punch to the body.

That sent Benton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Wilkinson misses. Vieira fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wilkinson. Vieira moves out of range as Wilkinson strikes. Vieira throws out a counter right but Wilkinson avoids it with no problem. Vieira keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wilkinson.
