I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Death Grip was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grip with a lazy takedown attempt and Allah holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Allah throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Allah is leaning against Grip and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Allah scores with a nice hook to the head. A right hand to the body from Allah.

Allah lands an uppercut. Grip letting Allah take a breather here. Allah lands with a light punch inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allah lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Grip tries for a takedown but Allah manages to get underhooks.

A nice left hand lands by Allah.

Allah lands a big right hand that drops Grip! The killer instinct kicks in and Allah finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Allah!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nolan closes the distance but Smiff moves to the side and Smiff counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Nolan kicks off Smiff and gets to his feet. Nolan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smiff swivels and escapes. Nolan has closed the distance and engaged Smiff in a clinch.
Smiff stalls. Nolan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Smiff is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Nolan breaks the clinch.
Nolan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Smiff counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Nolan! Montray Smiff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stefan Nolan. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nolan is looking to reverse the position. Smiff just content to control the position. Smiff in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smiff has knee on belly and moves into mount. Smiff tries to control but Nolan wriggling away. Smiff lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Nolan hang on? Smiff pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Nolan tries to hold on but Smiff pushes him away. Smiff is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Nolan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Nolan shrugs it off. Smiff avoids the attempt from Nolan to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smiff wants to finish this one by submission but Nolan is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Smiff. Nolan working to try and regain half guard.
BOOM! Smiff connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Nolan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smiff. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nolan is trying desperately to improve position. Nolan looks winded! Smiff tries to control but Nolan wriggling away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smiff scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Nolan?
It looks like Stefan Nolan has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big strike lands for Smiff! That's really hurt Nolan and he's turned his back - Smiff keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Smiff jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kadowak dives in for a single leg takedown but Mac sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kadowak shoots in for a takedown but Mac shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mac went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Mac misses with a double jab.
