The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green thumps Nayoui with a low kick.

Green uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nayoui.

Rob Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Green throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nayoui swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Green swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Nayoui to counter with a crisp jab.
Nayoui throws a right and a left that Green avoids nicely.
Nayoui cracks Green with a right hand to the side of the head.
Green tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nayoui misses with a series of wild punches.
Nayoui ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Green moves away.
A shot to the body from Nayoui misses
and Green counters with a good, hard body kick but Nayoui shrugs it off.
Green works over Nayoui's head and body with a nice combination.

Green lands a nice looking body kick.
Green does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nayoui throws a jab but it's blocked by Green.

Green swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Nayoui cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Green throws a head kick but Nayoui moves out of range.
Nayoui missing with a left hand there. Green was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nayoui. Green does a little dance to reset his feet.
Green throws a sloppy head kick and Nayoui moves out of range easily.

Green ducks under a wild hook from Nayoui.
Nayoui throws a lazy right hand but Green sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Green swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nayoui moves out of range as Green throws a body kick.
Green is looking to clinch.
Green really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nayoui checks the leg kick.

Nayoui connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Green tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Green takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Green is rocked!
Green ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Oh Green is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nayoui scores with a body shot.
Green is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Nayoui has cracked Green with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Nayoui lands another huge swinging hook and Green tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Green, before Nayoui can land any more shots!
