A lazy body kick from Grimson and Alexandersson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Stu Grimson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grimson throws a leg kick and Alexandersson counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Grimson badly! Alexandersson follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Grimson out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Alexandersson finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gymer Alexandersson! Gymer Alexandersson retains his heavyweight title! Gymer Alexandersson seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
