0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rasul Abdurazakov! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sable shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Abdurazakov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Abdurazakov wants to improve his position but Sable is controlling well.
Abdurazakov actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sable is looking to advance position but Abdurazakov won't allow it. Abdurazakov is trying to control but can't.

Sable tries to counter with a takedown but Abdurazakov is quick to defend against it. Sable shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Abdurazakov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Abdurazakov pulls Sable in close to prevent any damage.

You can see the frustration on Abdurazakov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Abdurazakov tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sable trying to control the position but Abdurazakov is working away. Abdurazakov is looking to regain half guard here but Sable keeps moving and retains side control. Jon Sable overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Abdurazakov regains half guard there - taking advantage of Sable's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Sable is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Abdurazakov sees it coming and defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abdurazakov won't allow Sable to pass to mount. Sable slows the pace down in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Abdurazakov regains full guard. Nicely done. Abdurazakov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sable is controlling him. Abdurazakov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Abdurazakov's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Abdurazakov duly obliges.
It looks like Jon Sable has been cut. Abdurazakov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sable's waist but Sable gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Abdurazakov off to one side. Sable shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Abdurazakov napping and manages to drive through into side control! Abdurazakov sneaks back into half guard. Abdurazakov is looking to control Sable's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Abdurazakov avoid being mounted? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Well, if Sable is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jon Sable. Well Sable has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Porter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Abdulaev kicks off Porter and gets to his feet. Porter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Abdulaev on his heels. He'll look to pass Abdulaev's guard now, I'm sure. Porter controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Porter trying to control the position from guard on top but Abdulaev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Porter prevents Abdulaev from getting back to his feet. Abdulaev trying to control the position.
Abdulaev keeping moving, preventing Porter from controlling successfully. Porter postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Porter throws a big right hand that misses. Abdulaev looking to hit a scissor sweep but Porter is one step ahead there. Porter looking to pass the guard. Porter engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Porter stalls. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Porter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Porter is trying to trip Abdulaev. He has hold of a leg but Abdulaev is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Porter persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Porter stands and steps away. Abdulaev gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Abdulaev fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Abdulaev dives in and grabs Porter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Porter pushes down on Abdulaev's head and hops out. Porter bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Abdulaev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Porter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Abdulaev on his heels. He'll look to pass Abdulaev's guard now, I'm sure. Abdulaev is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Porter dives into side control.

Abdulaev tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Porter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Porter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Abdulaev, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abdulaev manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Abdulaev wants to take a breather but Porter is having none of it. Abdulaev is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Porter is just riding it out for now. Abdulaev eventually gives up the hold. Porter trying to get back to full guard but Abdulaev takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abdulaev wants to control the pace but Porter is squirming around nicely. Abdulaev looking to finish with strikes here!
Abdulaev thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Porter tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Porter wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Abdulaev.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guard connects with a jab. Boyko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Boyko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Guard stuffs the takedown. The crowd cheers as Guard lands an impressive looking overhand right. Boyko doesn't seem phased though. Boyko tries to clinch up but Guard circles away and keeps his distance. Guard was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Boyko has his takedown stuffed and Guard counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ceste Guard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pavlo Boyko. Boyko tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Guard defends well and Boyko ends up having to push Guard into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boyko tries for a takedown but Guard circles away easily and Guard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Pavlo Boyko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guard scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boyko is defended easily by Guard. Guard was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Boyko takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Boyko fails with the takedown and Guard counters with a nice uppercut. Boyko gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Guard. Boyko gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Boyko tries to clinch but Guard moves away enabling Guard to counter with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boyko on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Boyko looks winded! Boyko fails with the takedown and Guard counters with a lovely straight right hand! A cross from Guard lands. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boyko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Guard is fending him off so far but Boyko persists. Nope, Guard circles away and we're back to standing. Nice cross by Guard. Guard is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. A jab lands there for Guard.
Boyko is rocked! Guard cracks Boyko on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Boyko falls backwards against the cage. Guard follows up with more strikes that drop Boyko to his knees. Guard keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Boyko! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riggs scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Patterson throws Riggs to one side and escapes! Riggs gets a takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Patterson is trying to control but can't.
Riggs is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Patterson defends it well. Patterson pushes Riggs off looking to stand but Riggs dives back in and keeps control.
Riggs lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Patterson! More strikes land and this one is all over! Riggs jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coleman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gotsov's half guard. Coleman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Coleman throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Gotsov to regain full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gotsov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coleman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Coleman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Coleman throwing strikes but missing. Coleman throws an elbow that misses. Gotsov uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Coleman's guard. Nice move by Gotsov! Gotsov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gotsov wants to counter with a clinch but Coleman pushes him away. Coleman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gotsov counters by moving into the clinch. Coleman gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coleman lands a couple of digs. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Coleman with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Coleman's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zesh is defended easily by Havasu. Zesh throws a head kick but Havasu moves out of range.
Zesh closes the distance and clinches. Zesh wants to get back to striking at distance but Havasu won't allow it.
Havasu has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Zesh uses from the top position. Zesh tries to free his leg and advance position but Havasu is retaining full guard. Zesh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Havasu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Havasu is trying to keep Zesh in close.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Havasu holds on and takes a little breather. Zesh is pushing down on Havasu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Havasu is fighting to maintain full guard but Zesh has managed to sneak the leg through. Havasu looking for submissions off his back. Zesh is looking for a kimura here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Havasu biding his time, controlling Zesh. Havasu is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Zesh knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Zesh for a finish. You can see the frustration on Zesh's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Renzencko has his takedown stuffed and Khan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Nice takedown defense from Khan. No joy for Renzencko on that attempt. It looked like Khan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Renzencko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Khan tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Renzencko manages to circle out of the way. Stephen Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miklo Renzencko. Khan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Renzencko looks to land a combination. Khan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Khan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Renzencko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Renzencko tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Khan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Renzencko on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Khan keeps control of the position easily here as Renzencko tries to buck him off.
