We've been hearing reports that Talbert has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Talbert shoots in for a double leg but Cox sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cox has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins blocks a head kick by Franco.
