The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thorsen moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Akio Honda has been cut. Thorsen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Thorsen cracks Honda with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jab from Thorsen. Honda takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That has opened up Akio Honda's cut even more. Oooooh!!! Thorsen has knocked Honda down with a huge combo! Thorsen steps away and waves a wobbly Honda back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Honda is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thorsen drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Honda right on the button. Honda goes down! Thorsen follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Thorsen gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Odin Thorsen! Odin Thorsen gave a mention to Bloodlust Horde Fightwear in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales). The defeated Akio Honda had this to say: 'There will other fights after this one. I will not stop until I reach the top!'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos Leite fails in his attempt to clinch. A quick step to the side and Arnold tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Arnold has closed the distance and engaged Santos Leite in a clinch.
Arnold jumps into guard, dragging Santos Leite to the mat.
Arnold looking for a sweep. Not yet Arnold, not yet. Santos Leite wants to control from the top but Arnold keeps moving. Arnold is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Santos Leite has his hands clasped together but Arnold extends and breaks Santos Leite's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Arnold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomez misses with a wild combination.
Alves tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A combination from Gomez does no damage. Alves misses with a hook. Gomez ducked under it nicely. Alves walks into a straight right hand from Gomez. Gomez chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gomez throws a series of punches but Alves avoids them all with ease. Alves is looking to counter punch. Gomez lands a jab to Alves's midsection. Gomez throws a right hand that Alves ducks under and follows up with a left that Alves also avoids with ease. Alves scores with a head kick. Gomez tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Gomez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Alvess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Alves has been working on his boxing with his coaches at AXIS - Rio Gym in the buildup to the fight. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gomez looks to land a right hand but Alves moved out of range. Gomez shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Alves eats them both and turns towards Gomez to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Gomez lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Alves at a distance.
Alves is breathing heavily. Gomez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alves moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gomez connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Alves throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Alves throws a sloppy head kick and Gomez moves out of range easily. Gomez lands a hook that stumbles Alves back into the cage. Gomez follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Alves to the canvas! Gomez pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Alves has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raul avoids the head kick by Bang.
Raul half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Raul takes a shot right to the bread basket. Bang misses with a head kick.
Bang gets a clinch. Bang with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Bang lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Raul. Bang landing knees to the head.
Bang lands an elbow that stopped Raul in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Maicol Raul has been cut. Raul is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bang gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Raul takes an elbow to the forehead.
Raul is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bang comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Oh Raul is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bang throws 2 knees - Raul can't escape Bang's clinch. As Raul tries to escape again Bang whips his head left to meet with another knee! That's knocked out Raul's gum shield and as Raul falls to the floor, the referee steps in to end the fight!

A very excited looking Thomas Bang made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. Da Silva looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! The Grinder lands a jab to the head.
The Grinder throws out a loose jab but Da Silva uses good head movement to avoid it. The Grinder fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Da Silva manages to avoid it. The Grinder throws a jab when Da Silva was well out of range. A lazy left from The Grinder finds it's target. Da Silva misses with a wild combination.
Da Silva has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Da Silva leaves The Grinder with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Da Silva is looking to counter the offense by The Grinder and move into the clinch. Da Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Da Silva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as The Grinder throws out the jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Grinder throws a big shot that misses. The Grinder is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Da Silva. The Grinder bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Da Silva's head. The Grinder thuds a left hand into Da Silva's body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Da Silva walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! The Grinder swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jagerkokov shoots in looking for a takedown. Adams tries to sprawl out of it but Jagerkokov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jagerkokov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Adams. Jagerkokov fails with the takedown and Adams counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jagerkokov. Adams definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Dre Adams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emil Jagerkokov. Jagerkokov slips a straight right by Adams. Adams scores with a nice strike. Adams throws a right hand that Jagerkokov ducks under and follows up with a left that Jagerkokov also avoids with ease. Jagerkokov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Adams counters with a nice body shot. Jagerkokov fails to land the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jagerkokov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Adams pinned against the cage. Adams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jagerkokov tries for a takedown but Adams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A punch combination from Adams misses. Jagerkokov fails to land the takedown. Jagerkokov looks winded!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pooh gets caught napping as Allen dives in and scores a takedown. Pooh manages to retain guard. Pooh is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Allen is aware though and is defending well. Allen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pooh has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Allen has passed into side control.
Allen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Allen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Pooh tries to buck Allen off but Allen is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allen is looking to take a break and control but Pooh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pooh is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pooh has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Allen but great work by Pooh. Allen manages to get back to half guard. Allen trying to control from the bottom.

Pooh is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Allen is just riding it out for now. Pooh eventually gives up the hold. Pooh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Allen keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pooh is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Pooh is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Allen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pooh. Pooh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Pooh is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Allen sees it coming and defends easily. Allen trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Pooh manages to pass to mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pooh prevents Allen from getting the reversal. Pooh wants to get back to his feet but Allen is holding on tight.
Allen tries to hold on but Pooh postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pooh goes for an armbar but Allen turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Allen. Allen pushing down on Pooh's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Allen is trying for a kimura here. Pooh looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Allen wins by kimura!

Gonzo was covering up waiting for the punch and Charles finishes the takedown easily into guard. Charles trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Charles trying to control the position from guard on top but Gonzo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Charles trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Charles working some strikes from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Charles stops Gonzo from standing up. Gonzo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Charles on the ground. Charles chips away with some ground and pound. Charles controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Charles trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Charles presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Charles is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Charles drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gonzo pulls his leg out and moves away.

Charles shoots for a takedown but Gonzo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Charles closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gonzo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Charles controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gonzo wants to get back to his feet. Sloppy strikes there by Charles. Charles taking a breather here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Charles in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Gonzo is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Privates, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Gonzo really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Charles is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Gonzo is trying to buck Charles off.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Charles tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Nice takedown defense from Gonzo. No joy for Charles on that attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gonzo takes the fight into the clinch. Gonzo lands with a right to the head. Gonzo throws a punch but it's blocked by Charles. Charles's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Gonzo slowing the pace effectively. Gonzo lands a body punch. Gonzo dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Gonzo trying to control the position but instead, Charles has worked for underhooks and has pushed Gonzo into the cage. Gonzo working aggressively here.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gonzo. Gonzo throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Charles has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gonzo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Still in the clinch, Charles scores with a nice short uppercut. Gonzo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Charles drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gonzo gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Gonzo leaning his opponent against the cage. Gonzo tries to stall but Charles uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Gonzo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Charles. Gonzo lands a nice shot to the body.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Igor Brezlav! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brezlav throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aerts's waist but Aerts gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brezlav off to one side. Aerts drives through with a takedown into Brezlav's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Aerts trying to control the position from guard on top but Brezlav is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brezlav looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Aerts has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Aerts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brezlav swivels though and keeps the full guard. Brezlav can't keep his opponent in guard - Aerts advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Aerts wants to free his trapped foot but Brezlav is holding on for dear life with his legs. Brezlav gets back to full guard.
Aerts wants to control from the top but Brezlav keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brezlav pushes a forearm under Aerts's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Aerts is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
