This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Raginis has momentary wrist control but Aybara slips an elbow through the middle.

Raginis throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Aybara escapes and throws Raginis's legs to the side, diving into side control!

A very excited looking Perrin Aybara rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Miyata is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Burton gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Burton apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Miyata lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Miyata has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Burton is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Horrible takedown attempt by Miyata or perhaps it was just good defense by Burton, which made it look bad.
