Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jim Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abodohl Makadabi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abodohl Makadabi! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone slips a jab from Makadabi. A right-left combo lands from Stone. Makadabi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stone throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stone swinging wildly here.
Makadabi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stone circles away quickly and effectively. Good standup being displayed there by Makadabi as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Jim Stone has been cut. Stone throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Makadabi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stone won't be happy with that. Makadabi stands up and we're back to a striking position. Stone checks a leg kick. Stone misses with a series of wild punches.

Stone bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Makadabi throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease. Makadabi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Makadabi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stone. Makadabi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Stone is breathing heavily.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Makadabi connects with a nice short shot to Stone's temple. Stone is looking to escape. Stone tries to kick Makadabi off but Makadabi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Makadabi connects with a nice short shot to Stone's temple. Makadabi missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Makadabi lands with a punch from half guard. Stone avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Makadabi. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Makadabi wants to stand up but Stone is controlling him. Stone has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Stone throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stone in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Stone thows a big elbow that misses. Stone thows a big elbow that misses. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Makadabi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Makadabi won't allow Stone to get back to his feet. Makadabi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Stone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Makadabi on the ground. Makadabi tries to free his leg and advance position but Stone is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Makadabi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Makadabi is standing up over Stone. Stone looks to escape but Makadabi dives into side control.
Makadabi stands up and beckons Stone to his feet. Stone throws a series of strikes that have Makadabi backpedaling.
Makadabi fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Makadabi tries to clinch up but Stone circles away and keeps his distance. Stone throws a right and a left that Makadabi avoids nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abodohl Makadabi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jim Stone's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stone gets caught flat footed, as Makadabi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Makadabi looking to pass the guard. Makadabi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Makadabi wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Makadabi scores with a nice head shot. Jim Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Makadabi counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Stone! Makadabi content just to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone avoids a series of strikes thrown by Makadabi.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Makadabi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Makadabi lands a big elbow. Makadabi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Stone wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Makadabi content just to control the position here. Abodohl Makadabi has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Makadabi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Makadabi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

and Makadabi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stone's guard now. Makadabi lands a couple of decent looking shots. Stone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stone tries to get out of the position. Makadabi stands and throws Stone's legs to the side, diving into side control. Stone is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Makadabi is controlling him well. Makadabi stands up and we're back to a striking position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Makadabi postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Stone looks a forlorn figure.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Golein thows a body shot but no joy. Makanre Sakatoushi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A solid leg kick lands there for Sakatoushi.
Sakatoushi goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Sakatoushi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sakatoushi wants it to stay on the feet. Golein looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sakatoushi is fending him off so far but Golein persists. Nope, Sakatoushi circles away and we're back to standing. Sakatoushi swings for the body but Golein moves out of range.
Sakatoushi staying out of range there. Sakatoushi looks to score with a jab to the body but Golein is just out of range. Sakatoushi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Golein closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sakatoushi circles away. Makanre Sakatoushi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luth Golein. Golein shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Golein swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sakatoushi is now in Golein's guard. A big mistake from Golein there, giving up the dominant position!
That's one minute gone in the round. Golein is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sakatoushi is aware though and is defending well. Sakatoushi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Sakatoushi decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Golein, up you get! Sakatoushi thuds his right hand into Golein's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Golein slips a jab from Sakatoushi. Sakatoushi connects with a high kick. Sakatoushi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Good standup being displayed there by Sakatoushi as he connects with a hook. Golein looks gassed! Sakatoushi lands a jab to the nose. Sakatoushi moves into range and connects with a jab.

Sakatoushi lands a nice looking body kick. Sakatoushi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Sakatoushi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Golein takes a kick to the side of the head. Sakatoushi connects with a looping right hand.

Golein takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A solid leg kick lands there for Sakatoushi.
Sakatoushi plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Golein drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sakatoushi lands with a thumping leg kick.

Sakatoushi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Golein's sensitive parts. Makanre Sakatoushi is winning the standup battle so far.

Good leg kick by Sakatoushi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Sakatoushi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Golein. Luth Golein is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sakatoushi cracks Golein with an open hand slap. Sakatoushi lands with a kick to the temple. Golein shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Golein needs to keep his hands up - Sakatoushi had a free shot at his head there. Golein takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Sakatoushi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Golein. Sakatoushi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Left hook, right uppercut from Sakatoushi. Golein tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Sakatoushi throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sakatoushi scores with a nice head shot. Golein takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sakatoushi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Golein on the side of the head. Golein sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Sakatoushi plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Sakatoushi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Sakatoushi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Sakatoushi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Golein can do to turn this around? Sakatoushi works Golein's body with a nice hook. Luth Golein has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sakatoushi's corner calls for a 1-2. Sakatoushi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Makanre Sakatoushi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sakatoushi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Johnson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Butchers's body.

De la Cruz is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Seco postures up and lands a big shot to De la Cruz's brow. Oh De la Cruz is still in real trouble! De la Cruz seems to have got his legs back now. Seco passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for De la Cruz! Seco is going oldschool here, as he tries to force De la Cruz to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so De la Cruz shrugs it off. Seco lands with some strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. De la Cruz throwing hammer fists to the chest of Seco. What's that going to do exactly? De la Cruz in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
