Rush shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kumari napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kumari throws Rush to one side and escapes!
Kevin Rush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kumari drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Rush wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kumari manages to pass to side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rush looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kumari with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kumari tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rush sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kumari somewhat.

It seemed like Rush was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kumari drops his hands momentarily and Rush needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Kumari just on the top of the head. Kumari drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Kumari - he's done!

A less than humble Kevin Rush misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vladik Fedotov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Margera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Margera has chosen Sail as his entrance music. Vladik Fedotov had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Vladik Fedotov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

and Margera counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fedotov thinking.
Fedotov tries to clinch there but Margera circles away.
Margera throws out a counter right but Fedotov avoids it with no problem.
Fedotov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Margera manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice defenses there by Margera.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Margera! But no joy.

Fedotov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Montreal Fighter's Gym (5* Sparring) in the buildup to the fight.
Fedotov drops his hands for a split second and Margera immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Fedotov face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Margera follows up with a right hand that knocks Fedotov into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
