The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunudid changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodri tries to avoid it but Hunudid manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodri to the ground. Rodri escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rodri tries to counter by clinching up but Hunudid breaks away and moves out of range.
Rodri shoots for a takedown but Hunudid saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rodri doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Hunudid counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rodri won't be happy with that.
Hunudid cracks Rodri with a big elbow.

It looks like Jose Rodri has been cut.

Hunudid has hold of Rodri's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Rodri tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hunudid cranks the arm and Rodri screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Rodri, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ingles went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
