Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zang Zhai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Izzy Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhai comes to the cage accompanied by Sampans. Izzy Beast told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Zang Zhai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Izzy Beast! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beast wants to slow Zhai down by chopping away at his legs. Zhai lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Zhai lands a nice shot to the body.
Zhai has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic in the buildup to the fight. Beast blocks a low kick nicely. Beast moves out of range of the strikes. Beast swings for the body but Zhai moves out of range.
Zhai scores with a jab to the body. Zhai will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Beast throws a leg kick but Zhai sees it coming and moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beast slips a straight right by Zhai. Beast now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Beast takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Beast misses with an uppercut. Beast looks to land a body kick but Zhai moved away. Zhai uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Beast. Beast fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Beast moves out of range of the body kick from Zhai.
Beast throws out a counter right but Zhai avoids it with no problem. Zhai cracks the inside of Beast's front leg. Zhai feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Beast's calf. Zhai scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Beast has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Zhai lands a nice looking kick to the body. Beast takes a step back to recover.

This has been an exciting period of action! Zhai misses the shot to the body. Good leg kick by Zhai there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Zhai obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Beast might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Zhai has got the better of the exchanges. Zhai misses the shot to the body. Beast tries to score with a low kick but Zhai moves his leg out of the way. It looked like Zhai wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Beast gets off balance looking for a body kick and Zhai counters with a low kick, right behind Beast 's knee. Zhai throws a lazy right hand but Beast sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Zhai stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Beast. Zhai staying out of range there. Zhai bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Zhai lands a slapping body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper throws a shot from downtown. Stark moves away and avoids it. Cooper throws a looping overhand right but Stark ducks down to avoid it. Stark wants to counter with a clinch but Cooper pushes him away. Cooper pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stark punishes Cooper's body with a nice straight punch. Stark slips under a jab. As Cooper backs off Stark throws a huge counter combo but Cooper manages to avoid it all. A head kick misses from Stark. Cooper feints and then cracks Stark's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stark down. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stark. Cooper blocks a head kick by Stark.
Cooper misses with a kick to the body and Stark counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Cooper wants to stand up but Stark is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cooper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Vincent Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Stark. Cooper looks to land a right hand but Stark moved out of range. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from McDougal is defended easily by Aldo. Aldo fails with the takedown. Aldo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Aldo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Aldo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Aldo wants to sweep but no luck. Aldo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fleshou cracks the inside of Technique's front leg. Fleshou thuds his shin into the meat of Technique's side. Fleshou fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Technique looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Technique lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fleshou backs up against the cage.
The fighters circle momentarily. Fleshou darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Technique moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Fleshou lands with a right hand. Technique misses with a combination
and Fleshou connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. It looks like Fleshou has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Fleshou throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Fleshou lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Fleshou lands with a nice body punch. Fleshou fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Fleshou jabs Technique right on the nose. Technique blinks but takes it well. Technique throws a right hand that Fleshou ducks under and follows up with a left that Fleshou also avoids with ease. Fleshou fires out a quick counter leg kick but Technique just manages to avoid it. Fleshou lands with an overhand left. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fleshou bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Technique misses with a jab, cross combination.
