The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Poulter defends it nicely. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Green is defended easily by Poulter. Green shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Poulter manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Poulter is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Poulter with a knee to the head.

Green throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Poulter tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Green is in Poulter's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Green landing some decent shots from guard. Green looking to pass the guard. Poulter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Green accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Green landing with the ground and pound. Green throws a big elbow that misses. Green stops Poulter from standing up.

A close round but Juan Pablo Green will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Poulter moves away from the strike by Green. Green tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Poulter is able to avoid easily. Poulter lands a head kick. Green smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Poulter slips a straight right by Green. Poulter takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Poulter ducks under a wild hook from Green. Green swats away the attempt to clinch by Poulter. Green tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Poulter defends well and Green ends up having to push Poulter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Poulter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Green throws out the jab. A little feinted left hand from Poulter on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. An inside leg kick from Poulter misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Green throws a big shot that misses. Poulter ducks under a wild hook from Green. Poulter is looking to counter the offense by Green and move into the clinch. Poulter moves into range and clinches up with Green. Green breaks the clinch.

Green cracks the inside of Poulter's front leg. Poulter wants to clinch up but Green keeps it at a distance. Paul Poulter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poulter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Green thumps Poulter with a low kick. Poulter doesn't manage to clinch there - Green circles away.
Poulter tries to clinch up and Green counters with a left and a right that stings Poulter. Green tries to move into range but Poulter moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Poulter has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Green finds it's way round the side to connect with Poulter's head. Green feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Green trying to control but Poulter is working from the bottom. Green trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Green looking to pass the guard. Green in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Poulter keeping moving, preventing Green from controlling successfully. Green throws an elbow that misses. Poulter uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Green's guard. Nice move by Poulter! Poulter controls from within his opponent's guard.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Poulter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Poulter advances position into side control! Green tries to bench press Poulter off him but Poulter keeps the position. Poulter trying to control the position but Green is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Green is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Green sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Poulter defending well though. Nice strikes from Green there. Green is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Green stalling away here and it's allowed Poulter to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Poulter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Green has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Green missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Green wants to control from the top but Poulter keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juan Pablo Green showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

A nice leg kick lands there from Poulter. Green with a hook. Poulter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Green misses with a straight left. Green closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Poulter tries to clinch but Green moves out of range. Green has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Green tries to score a power double leg takedown but Poulter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Green somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Green throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Poulter. Poulter scores with a one two! Green had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Green circles away from the clinch attempt enabling Green to counter with a crisp jab.

Poulter on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Green lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Green will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Poulter closes the distance and clinches. Poulter tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Green avoids it. Poulter unloads a knee to the mid-section. Green has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Poulter avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Poulter throws a knee to the head but misses.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Green manages to end up in side control. Green working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Green wants to control but Poulter is keeping him busy. Poulter wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Sloppy strikes there by Green. Green is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Poulter has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Poulter to see if he's OK. Juan Pablo Green is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Green throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Green is looking to take a break and control but Poulter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Poulter parries the strikes from Green easily there. Green is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Poulter to escape.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Barishkov misses its intended target. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tasapaksu! But no joy. Tasapaksu misses with a low kick as Barishkov jumps back. Barishkov misses with a wild body shot. Barishkov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tasapaksu throws out the jab. Tasapaksu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Barishkov to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Tatti Tasapaksu has been cut. No joy there for Tasapaksu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tasapaksu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Barishkov throws a hook but Tasapaksu avoids it easily. Tasapaksu has closed the distance and engaged Barishkov in a clinch.
Barishkov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tasapaksu fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've been told by Barishkov's head coaches at Hugs & Kisses that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Barishkov looks to land a left hand but Tasapaksu moved out of range nicely. Tasapaksu throws a head kick that misses. A leg kick checked by Tasapaksu. Barishkov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tasapaksu. Barishkov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Tasapaksu tries a quick counter leg kick but Barishkov is wise to it. Barishkov throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Barishkov on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barishkov lands with a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barishkov checks a low kick from Tasapaksu. Barishkov slips a straight right by Tasapaksu. Barishkov misses the shot to the body. Barishkov cracks Tasapaksu with a right hand to the side of the head. Tasapaksu throws a head kick that misses. Barishkov swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A jab lands there for Barishkov. Barishkov waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tasapaksu. Tasapaksu looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. A head kick by Barishkov - that's a beauty! Tasapaksu is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Barishkov can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Demaestri misses with an uppercut. Demaestri lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Demaestri. Harris throws a leg kick which misses Demaestri's front leg but catches the back leg as Demaestri tries to avoid it. Harris lands a nice looking body shot.

Harris is rocked! Demaestri fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Harris to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Harris looks to clinch but Demaestri throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Harris taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elwood throws a series of punches but Beattie avoids them all with ease. Beattie is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Elwood throws a quick inside leg kick. Elwood is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Elwood dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Beattie. That did some damage! Elwood misses with a low kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyyp pushes Hemmo up against the cage in a clinch. Hemmo makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. I was talking to Hemmo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Tyyp misses with some punches.
Tyyp tries to work over Hemmo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Tyyp with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Tyyp taking a breather. Hemmo trying to control the position but instead, Tyyp has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hemmo into the cage. Tyyp looking to slow down the pace here. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Tyyp takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Suri blocks a jab. Suri lands an overhand right. Suri throws the left hand but Gaultier avoids the punch easily. Gaultier throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Gaultier takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gaultier misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
