Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Royce Gracie had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Kovalev throws a series of punches but Thomas moves out of range.
Thomas has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Schmidt is looking to slow Drogo down with leg kicks.
Drogo darts in looking for a takedown but Schmidt gets double underhooks and turns Drogo into the cage.
Drogo shoots in looking for a takedown. Schmidt tries to sprawl out of it but Drogo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schmidt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
