We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roman has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pulu should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Roman has tightened it up now! Pulu should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Tupu feints and as Puno raises his hands in defense, Tupu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Puno (0) vs (2) Tupu

Tupu content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Puno has locked up a guillotine! Puno's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Tupu is holding on here and Puno must be using up a lot of energy. Tupu has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Puno gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
