1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aleksandr Fedorov! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fedorov dodges the punch combination from Yamato.
A looping hook to the body misses from Yamato. Fedorov does a little dance to reset his feet. Yamato swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Yamato throws a lazy right hand but Fedorov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Yamato misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fedorov.

Fedorov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yamato throws out the jab. Fedorov slips a straight right by Yamato. Yamato slaps away a takedown attempt from Fedorov, before circling back to the center of the mat. Yamato connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fedorov's hands. Fedorov is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Yamato throws a big shot that misses. Yamato throws an overhand right that lands on Fedorov's shoulder, as Fedorov tries to avoid the shot. Yamato fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yamato throws a hook to the side of Fedorov's head but Fedorov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Yamato throws a looping overhand right but Fedorov ducks down to avoid it.

Yamato manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Yamato thows a left - swing and a miss! Yamato wants to clinch but Fedorov slips to the side and Fedorov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fedorov. Fedorov works over Yamato with some ground and pound from guard. Yamato wants to stand up but Fedorov is controlling him. Fedorov advances to half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dekkers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dekkers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chinatown was well out of range. Poor timing from Dekkers. Charlie Chinatown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chinatown throws a lazy right hand but Dekkers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Chinatown has a takedown stuffed. Chinatown on the wrong end of a nice jab. Chinatown blocks a jab. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chinatown. Dekkers swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Chinatown. Chinatown lands a glancing blow to the side of Dekkers's head. Chinatown shoots for a takedown but Dekkers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Chinatown. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nicko bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dvargledare's head backwards. Nicko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nicko comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Nicko connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nicko connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Nicko throws a right and a left that Dvargledare avoids nicely. Nicko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dvargledare.
Nicko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dvargledare moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nicko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dvargledare circles away quickly and effectively. Nicko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dvargledare looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nicko scores with a sloppy punch to the body.
