The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jihad loads up on a big right hand but Fenix slips the punch.
Fenix throws out a counter right but Jihad avoids it with no problem.
Fenix smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A jab from Jihad misses.
Fenix steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jihad.
Jihad takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Fenix scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fenix looks to land a right hand but Jihad moved out of range.
Jihad is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fenix.
Jihad changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fenix tries to avoid it but Jihad manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fenix to the ground. Fenix escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jihad is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Fenix's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Mohammed Jihad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
