The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Howard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McGee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A punch combination from McGee misses. Howard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. McGee throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Howard colapses and takes a barrage of punches from McGee as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Howard is left battered and dazed whilst McGee and his camp cheer!

Dow closes this distance looking for a takedown but PoPo circles away. Dow fails with a takedown attempt. Dow scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. PoPo looks like he's trying to stand up.
PoPo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if PoPo tries to get out of the position. PoPo scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Dow manages to mount him!

After a battle for position, Dow asserts his dominance and retains side control. Dow scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at PoPo to see if he's OK. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. PoPo tries to escape but Dow is in control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Dow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on John Dow's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Dow shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches PoPo napping and manages to drive through into side control! PoPo tries to escape but Dow is in control. PoPo wants to get back to his feet but Dow is dominant here and he's now got PoPo's back! Dow loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can PoPo hold on?
PoPo controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dow is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Dow gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Dow gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Dow apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Dow lands a big shot there that rocks PoPo but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

And that's the end of the fight! John Dow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dow has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cottero throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cottero moves into range and clinches up with Midtimbang. Cottero pushes Midtimbang back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Cottero lands on the inside with an uppercut. Cottero lands with a left to the head. Cottero works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Cottero blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Midtimbang stalling in the clinch but Cottero improves position. Cottero is working Midtimbang over against the cage. Midtimbang has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A right hook to the body lands for Cottero.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. A quick uppercut on the inside from Cottero. A body shot lands from Cottero.
Midtimbang wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Midtimbang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Midtimbang looks to clinch and Cottero connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Dats Midtimbang has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Midtimbang throws a series of punches but Cottero avoids them all with ease. Midtimbang looks gassed! Midtimbang walks into a straight right hand from Cottero.

Cottero scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Cottero lands a jab. Cottero clinches up with Midtimbang and pushes him back against the cage. Cottero lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A right hook to the body lands for Cottero.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cottero controlling the action here for a moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cottero tries to clinch up and Midtimbang counters with a head kick. That will keep Cottero thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Cottero rushes Midtimbang and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Cottero lands a nice shot to the body. Cottero working hard to break the clinch. Midtimbang's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Cottero lands a shoulder strike. Cottero taking a breather. Cottero makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A short left from Cottero.
That has opened up Dats Midtimbang's cut even more. Cottero lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Cottero throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Cottero gets through Midtimbang's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Cottero lands a body punch in the clinch. Cottero works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Cottero looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cottero lands with an uppercut that bounces Midtimbang off the cage and back into rage.
The cut above Dats Midtimbang's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Cottero lands a left and a right that send Midtimbang crashing to the mat, dazed. Cottero thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Midtimbang is rocked! Midtimbang drops his hands momentarily. Cottero doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Midtimbang staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Midtimbang doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ross looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ross looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Cvetkov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Ross looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ross wants to improve his position but Cvetkov is controlling well.

Ross is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cvetkov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cvetkov's back! Ross is looking for a rear naked choke here but Cvetkov reverses the position brilliantly into Ross's guard!

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Smith! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat. Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Smith counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jackson's guard now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smith trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Smith is looking to work some ground and pound but Jackson has wrist control. Smith in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smith tries to stand but Jackson is controlling from the bottom. Jackson pulls Smith in close to prevent any damage. Smith postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Smith, into his guard. Smith is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth. You can see the frustration on Smith's face as Jackson controls the position. Jackson decides to stand back up. Jackson steps back and let's Smith get back to his feet. Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
