The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waddy shoots for a takedown but cruel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Waddy fails with a takedown attempt. cruel throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. cruel stuffs the takedown attempt from Waddy. Waddy gets slowly back to his feet. punishment cruel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tam Tam Waddy. Waddy fails with the takedown. Tam Tam Waddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from cruel as Waddy shoots in. Waddy tries to clinch up. cruel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Tam Tam Waddy has been cut. Waddy closes this distance looking for a takedown but cruel circles away. Waddy is looking to take this fight into the clinch. cruel closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Waddy! cruel dives in looking to finish! Waddy is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ribeiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Connely tries to avoid it but Ribeiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Connely to the ground. Connely escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Connely misses with a wild body shot. Danga de danga de dang - Connely scores with a four punch combination! No luck for Ribeiro with that takedown attempt. A slow jab from Ribeiro misses its intended target. Ribeiro ducks straight into an uppercut from Connely and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Ribeiro manages to regain guard straight away.
Ribeiro is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ribeiro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Connely defends it easily. Ribeiro looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Chris Connely is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ribeiro swings and misses with a shot to the body and Connely counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Good standup being displayed there by Connely as he connects with a hook. Ribeiro closes the distance looking to clinch letting Connely counter with a right hand. Oh Ribeiro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Connely waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Ribeiro.
