8 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Asko Ilmarinen! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson throws out a powerful jab. No luck for Ilmarinen with that takedown attempt. Johnson falls off balance throwing a combination
so Ilmarinen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Johnson is pulling down on Ilmarinen's head to control his posture. Ilmarinen drops back looking for a leg! Johnson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johnson manages to kick Ilmarinen off! Ilmarinen jumps back into Johnson's guard. Ilmarinen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Johnson is proving hard to escape from. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ilmarinen controls the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ilmarinen drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ilmarinen as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Johnson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ilmarinen! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Asko Ilmarinen! A very excited looking Asko Ilmarinen rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuki Shojo! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shojo misses with the combination.
Dieselnoi throws a counter high kick but Shojo was just alert enough to avoid it. Yuki Shojo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shojo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dieselnoi 's sensitive parts. Dieselnoi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A head kick by Dieselnoi misses and Shojo counters with a three punch combo that has Dieselnoi backing up. Dieselnoi nods at Shojo to acknowledge the strikes. Dieselnoi misses with a left hand and Shojo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Shojo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dieselnoi to the ground. Shojo is now in Dieselnoi 's guard. Shojo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Shojo drops back looking for a leg! Dieselnoi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dieselnoi manages to kick Shojo off! Shojo jumps back into Dieselnoi 's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shojo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shojo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dieselnoi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shojo is standing up over Dieselnoi . Dieselnoi looks to escape but Shojo dives into side control.
Shojo has an Americana. Dieselnoi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Shojo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Shojo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura misses with a wild body shot. Takayanagi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nakamura can pounce on him.
Nakamura on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Takayanagi. Takayanagi obviously looking to wear him down.
Nakamura cracks the inside of Takayanagi's front leg. Takayanagi thumps Nakamura with a low kick. Takayanagi throws a nice inside leg kick. Takayanagi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nakamura walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Takayanagi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Nakamura has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mega Gym - Capacity 35 in the buildup to the fight. Nakamura checks the leg kick nicely there.
Nakamura punishes Takayanagi's body with a nice straight punch. A nice inside leg kick there by Takayanagi. That's going to slow Nakamura down. Nakamura misses with a hook
and Takayanagi counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nakamura is trying to stand.
Takayanagi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takayanagi stalling. Let's hope that Takayanagi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Nakamura tries to kick Takayanagi off in order to stand up. Takayanagi Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Takayanagi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nakamura has escaped the position, nice work there. Takayanagi controlling from side mount. Nakamura explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakamura misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Takayanagi.
Nakamura listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Good leg kick by Nakamura there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Takayanagi tries to land a leg kick but Nakamura saw it coming and moves away.
Takayanagi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Takayanagi throws a low kick but Nakamura moves out of range easily. Takayanagi takes a jab right on the kisser.
A big right from Takayanagi misses. A decent looking cross lands there for Nakamura. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nakamura throws a hook but Takayanagi avoids it easily. Takayanagi only half commits to the counter leg kick. Nakamura jabs Takayanagi right on the nose. Takayanagi blinks but takes it well. Takayanagi tries a head kick but it misses.
Takayanagi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nakamura. Nakamura uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Takayanagi has time to react.
Takayanagi is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakamura cracks Takayanagi on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Takayanagi falls backwards against the cage. Nakamura follows up with more strikes that drop Takayanagi to his knees. Nakamura keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Takayanagi! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fiji Nakamura! During a confident post fight interview, Fiji Nakamura thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

Flame gets a takedown into half guard. Flame is trying to control. Kazuhiro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kazuhiro actively working from the bottom here. Flame has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kazuhiro pushes a forearm under Flame's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Flame is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Celeryman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Mignon keeps the fight on the outside. Celeryman wants to clinch. Mignon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Celeryman looks to clinch and Mignon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Celeryman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oooooh!!! Mignon has knocked Celeryman down with a huge combo! Mignon steps away and waves a wobbly Celeryman back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Celeryman is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mignon measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Celeryman! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Slice clinches. Slice lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Slice lands with a short shot to the head. Gracie takes a shot to the head. Slice is struggling to control the position. Slice working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A right handed body shot lands from Slice.
Gracie pulls guard effortlessly. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie is trying to control the position but Slice postures up. Slice postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Slice trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie has his feet on Slice's thighs here. He's pushed Slice off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Slice screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ebon darts in and clinches Dos Santos up against the cage. Dos Santos wants a takedown but no success here.

Ebon throws a punch but it's blocked by Dos Santos. Ebon scores with a nice hook to the head. Dos Santos's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Dos Santos has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ebon after a bit of a struggle. Dos Santos is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ebon pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Dos Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ebon misses with a hook from the clinch. Dos Santos has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ebon is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Ebon fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ebon lands an uppercut. Ebon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Dos Santos tries for a takedown. No joy.

Ebon wants to clinch up but Dos Santos keeps it at a distance. Dos Santos shoots in and drives through. Ebon sprawls well. Dos Santos gets tackled into the cage by Ebon. Ebon maintains the clinch. Ebon lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dos Santos backwards. Dos Santos blocking some punches.
Dos Santos drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ebon pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dos Santos scores with a takedown into Ebon's guard. Dos Santos tries to free his leg and advance position but Ebon is retaining full guard. Ebon wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Dos Santos's hips, looking to push off. But Dos Santos grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Ebon screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
