Kawasaki falls off balance throwing a combination

and Dupuit counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kawasaki won't be happy with that.
Kawasaki is looking to regain half guard here but Dupuit keeps moving and retains side control.
Dupuit is looking to take a break and control but Kawasaki is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kawasaki is trying to escape the position but Dupuit is controlling the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
It looked like Aoki wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Jagger Carreon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Carreon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Carreon takes a swing at Ja's ribcage but misses.
Ja drops his hands for a split second and Carreon immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Ja face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Carreon follows up with a right hand that knocks Ja into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Honda tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Honda has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Honda remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Honda is looking to take a break and control but Valkyrie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
