3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jan Kriel! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Campos moves into the clinch. Kriel misses with a knee strike.
Our sources have told us that Campos has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Kriel lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Campos backwards. Campos tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Campos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kriel avoids the body shot from Campos.
A nice side step and Kriel releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Campos looks for a takedown but Kriel sprawls well. Kriel stuffs the takedown attempt from Campos. Campos gets slowly back to his feet. Kriel appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Campos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kriel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Campos. Kriel swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kriel cracks Campos with an open hand slap.

Campos postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kriel is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Campos, into his guard. Kriel tries to stand but Campos is controlling from the bottom.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lucas Campos will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Lucas Campos's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Campos is rocked! Kriel walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Campos drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Kriel swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Campos's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jan Kriel! A very excited looking Jan Kriel rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perez takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Kazi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Perez's head. Perez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Kazi scores with a sloppy right hand. Perez should have avoided that one. Perez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perez trying to pass the guard but Kazi defending well. Perez is working for a kimura but Kazi is defending it quite comfortably.
Kazi kicks off Perez and gets to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kazi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Perez. That did some damage! Perez shoots for a takedown but Kazi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kazi fires out a quick counter leg kick but Perez just manages to avoid it. Perez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Kazi is looking to slow Perez down with leg kicks. Perez tries for a takedown but Kazi circles away easily and Kazi counters with a stiff right hand. Kazi scoring well with a low kick there.

Perez is rocked! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kazi. Perez wants to counter with a clinch but Kazi pushes him away. Perez dives in for a single leg takedown but Kazi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kazi circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Perez drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kazi follows Perez to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Dias walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Valentine tries to work over Dias's front leg with a kick but Dias checks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dias lands a nice hook to Valentine's body. Valentine takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Dias tries to close the distance and clinch up but Valentine swats him away and circles back towards the center. Valentine takes a swing at Dias's ribcage but misses. Despite the aggression on Dias's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Valentine shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dias napping and manages to drive through into side control! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Valentine is looking to take a break and control but Dias is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dias tries to lock up and control but Valentine gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Dias really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Valentine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Valentine lands a couple of good shots and Dias has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Valentine seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Valentine lands punches and elbows. Valentine is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Valentine throws a hook to the side of Dias's head but Dias sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dias lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Gabriel Dias is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Valentine looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dias! Dias holding on. Valentine trying to control the position but Dias is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dias sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Valentine seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dias does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Valentine is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Valentine is thwarting Dias's attempts to control the position. Valentine scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Valentine trying to mount his opponent but Dias defends it. Dias makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dias. Leon Valentine is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Valentine is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dias can do to turn this around?

Gabriel Dias has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Valentine slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
And that's the end of the fight! Leon Valentine showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Valentine, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McPhail misses with a looping right. Sarkisyan defending well as McPhail loads up on a big left hand. McPhail fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sarkisyan staying out of range there. McPhail looks to land a right hand but Sarkisyan moved out of range. Sarkisyan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Sarkisyan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Paddy McPhail seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sarkisyan, right into the meat.
McPhail ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sarkisyan moves away. Sarkisyan scores with a leg kick.

It looks like Evan Thomas has been cut. We've been hearing that Brezlav has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Brezlav loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Brezlav's corner is telling him to maintain position. Brezlav has gone for a leg lock!
