Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

No joy there for Pomper, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pomper keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

We've been told by Pomper's head coaches at Montreal Fighter's Gym (5* Sparring) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Oooooh!!! Pomper has knocked Singh down with a huge combo! Pomper steps away and waves a wobbly Singh back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Singh is defended easily by Pomper.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Pomper! Singh is backing up but he can't get away as Pomper lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Singh and ends the fight. Great knockout.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Trey Golden was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Söderlund connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Margera tumbling to the canvas! Söderlund pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Margera was done - good stoppage!
