Bidam comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Megalomaniac kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the ring it seems that Marlin Paschal has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marlin Paschal seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Bidam throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Paschal.

Paschal is looking to clinch.

Bidam misses with a series of wild punches.
Bidam throws a right and a left that Paschal avoids nicely.
Paschal takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice sprawl there from Bidam as Paschal shoots in.
Paschal looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bidam cracks Paschal with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bidam fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Paschal on the side of the head.
Bidam goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No joy there for Bidam, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Paschal feinted with a counter takedown.
Oh Paschal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bidam lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Paschal can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Bidam and Paschal drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Bidam.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Aldo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Chonan.
Chonan tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Aldo manages to circle out of the way.
Chonan tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Aldo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Aldo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Aldo throws a sloppy head kick and Chonan moves out of range easily.

Chonan lands a hook to the side of the head.
Chonan keeps control of Aldo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Aldo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Aldo feints a jab promting Chonan to slip. Aldo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Chonan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Chonan has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Aldo jabs Chonan right on the nose. Chonan blinks but takes it well.

Li lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Yonglong Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Li, as that shot connected.

Bengtsson tries a body shot but Li blocks it.
Li tries to stall but Bengtsson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
