The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hurskainen wants to control but Valor passes into side.

Valor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Valor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Valor postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Valor creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hurskainen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
