Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Artur Ysengrin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olympia Unchained (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Artur Ysengrin had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Breeze pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Vaziri Jr. taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendez slips a jab from Damozzi. Damozzi just misses with a punch to the body.
Mendez lands with a hook. Damozzi tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Mendez scores with a crisp jab that stopped Damozzi in his tracks. Mendez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Nice shot lands for Damozzi.

A wild punch that just about connected. Damozzi clobbers Mendez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Damozzi swings away with a body shot that misses

That's one minute gone in the round. Mendez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Damozzi to score with a decent uppercut. Mendez lands an overhand right. Mendez getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Damozzi lands a jab to Mendez's midsection. Damozzi lands a leg kick that knocks Mendez off balance momentarily. Frank Damozzi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Damozzi feints and then cracks Mendez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mendez down. Mendez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Damozzi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Damozzi throws a head kick that misses. Damozzi scores with a push kick. Damozzi walks into a straight right hand from Mendez. The fighters circling - Mendez throws out the jab but it was never going to land. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mendez moves away from the strike by Damozzi. Mendez misses with an uppercut

A jab from Mendez misses. Mendez throws a shot from downtown. Damozzi moves away and avoids it. Damozzi slips a straight right by Mendez. Damozzi swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Damozzi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mendez's head backwards. Damozzi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mendez. That did some damage! Mendez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Damozzi throws out the jab. Damozzi misses the shot to the body. Mendez throws a lazy uppercut

Thrul shoots for a double leg takedown but Dōraku sprawls well. He's pushed Thrul's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dōraku - that will leave a mark!
Dōraku works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Thrul fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dōraku is out of range. Dōraku appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Thrul staying out of range there. Thrul takes a swing at Dōraku's ribcage but misses. Thrul throws out a loose jab but Dōraku uses good head movement to avoid it. Thrul fails in his attempt to clinch. Thrul takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Dōraku shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dōraku takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dōraku ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Dōraku scores with a nice head shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thrul does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Thrul takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A low kick from Dōraku is predictable there and Thrul counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Thrul chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dōraku can pounce on him.

Thrul throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dōraku was covering up waiting for the punch and Thrul finishes the takedown easily into guard. Dōraku manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Thrul manages to get himself to full guard.

Allen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Clark looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Allen blocks a jab. Allen misses with an uppercut
and Clark counters with a stiff right hand. Allen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Clark checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Allen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Allen misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Clark counters with a right hand to the body. Allen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Gracie Allen has been cut. Clark lands with a slapping head kick. Clark misses with a wild body shot. Clark takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Allen moves forwards but Clark connects with a nice, crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Clark fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Allen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McLauglin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McLauglin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Edward McLauglin has been cut. McLauglin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. McLauglin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Roach misses with a wild body shot. Roach connects with an inside leg kick. Roach throws a hook but McLauglin avoids it easily. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Roach. McLauglin is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Roach misses with a leg kick. McLauglin tries to clinch but fails miserably and Roach counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Roach takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. McLauglin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Roach manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McLauglin tries to clinch but Roach moves out of range. McLauglin throws an overhand right that lands on Roach's shoulder, as Roach tries to avoid the shot. McLauglin jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McLauglin slips a straight right by Roach. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McLauglin checks a leg kick. McLauglin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. McLauglin looks to clinch and Roach counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Roach misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McLauglin.

Roach feints and then cracks McLauglin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McLauglin down. McLauglin darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A jab from McLauglin does it's job there. McLauglin moves out of range of the body kick from Roach.

McLauglin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Roach on the side of the head.
Roach is rocked! Roach dips to his left and cracks McLauglin with an uppercut! McLauglin scores with a nice head shot. Roach is still on wobbly legs! Can McLauglin finish him? Roach bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Roach throws a hook but McLauglin blocks it. Roach moves away from the strike by McLauglin. McLauglin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. This has been an exciting period of action! A slow jab from McLauglin misses its intended target. McLauglin cracks Roach with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. McLauglin misses with a hook. Roach ducked under it nicely. McLauglin looks for the body kick but Roach saw that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bone on bone clash there as McLauglin blocks the leg kick.
It looked like McLauglin was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Roach. McLauglin throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. McLauglin scores with a nice strike. A slapping leg kick lands for McLauglin.
McLauglin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Roach can do to turn this around? McLauglin throws out a loose jab but Roach uses good head movement to avoid it. Roach is looking for the big counter here. McLauglin misses with a left hand and Roach connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Roach takes one on the button. Roach gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McLauglin. Roach misses with a left hand and McLauglin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A head kick misses from McLauglin. McLauglin looks for the body kick but Roach saw that one coming. McLauglin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

After winning the bout, Bartholomew Roach thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
