Bones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Velli defends it nicely.

DiSoto works the jab nicely.
Eye tries to score a power double leg takedown but DiSoto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Eye somewhat.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Eye has eaten all the pies!
DiSoto uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Eye rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but DiSoto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A combination from DiSoto does no damage.
Eye tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eye shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says DiSoto as he avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Saltan shoots in looking for a takedown but Chu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Saltan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tzu Chu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chu darts in and clinches Saltan up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Saltan.
Chu lands an elbow inside that Saltan shrugs off.
Chu throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chu can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Saltan is working away from the top position though.

Saltan is rotating here... this could be the end... Chu is out! Saltan has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
