3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Pollock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroshi Yoshino! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoshino looks to land a combination but Pollock avoids it well. Pollock throws a head kick that Yoshino semi-blocks.
Pollock tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Yoshino will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pollock seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. A head kick misses from Pollock. Pollock has managed to clinch.
Yoshino throws an elbow but it misses.
Yoshino is trying to force a seperation but Pollock has the dominant position. Yoshino is defending well against a takedown attempt. Pollock keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Yoshino's efforts to push away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pollock lands a body shot. Pollock manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Yoshino stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pollock swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Yoshino gets underhooks to prevent Pollock's takedown attempt.
Yoshino lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Pollock jumps guard but Yoshino stands there with Pollock around his waist. Pollock gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cranial is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Cranial feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nunes s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Cranial looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nice defenses there by Cranial. Cranial throwing a counter right hand but Nunes manages to avoid it. Cranial misses with a few strikes there.
Nunes throws out a loose jab but Cranial uses good head movement to avoid it. Nice shot by Cranial.
It looks like Dennis Nunes has been cut. Cranial connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Nunes out cold! This one is over in a flash!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rosal looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Reddish looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Rosal swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Reddish lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rosal will feel that in the morning. Garrett Reddish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reddish scores with a decent looking hook. Rosal takes a kick to the side of the head. Reddish throws a head kick that half lands.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Reddish, as that shot connected.

Rosal is looking to land body kicks. Reddish connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Rosal throws a low kick but Reddish avoids it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reddish throws a nice inside leg kick. Reddish lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Reddish scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rosal doesn't seem bothered though. Reddish throws a nice outside leg kick. A combination from Rosal does no damage. Rosal shoots in for a takedown but Reddish shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Reddish scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Rosal shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reddish as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reddish throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Rosal wants to clinch. Reddish feints and then cracks Rosal's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rosal down. Reddish connects with a solid leg kick. Reddish scores with a head kick. Rosal tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Reddish is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Reddish connects with the punch. Reddish swings for the body but Rosal moves out of range.
Rosal needs to keep his hands up - Reddish had a free shot at his head there. Reddish cracks Rosal with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Rosal ducks right into an uppercut from Reddish. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rosal misses with the combination.

Garrett Reddish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Rosal. Reddish throws a right hand that Rosal ducks under and follows up with a left that Rosal also avoids with ease. Reddish lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rosal will feel that in the morning. Reddish scores with a head kick. Rosal tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Rosal fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reddish throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Reddish throws a nice outside leg kick. Rosal shoots in and drives through. Reddish sprawls well. Reddish throws a counter high kick but Rosal was just alert enough to avoid it. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Reddish! Rosal is out on his feet! Reddish rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rosal is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rosal is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Garrett Reddish! Our winner, Garrett Reddish, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Komamura fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A swing and a miss from Adams.

Komamura is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Komamura doesn't succeed with the takedown and Adams counters with a straight right hand. Komamura tries to score a power double leg takedown but Adams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Komamura somewhat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ames fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Aoki avoids it really well and circles away. As Ames backs away, Aoki returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Ames fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Ames has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Aoki. A low kick from Ames misses and Aoki counters with a good low kick that Ames was not able to check. Aoki scoring well with a low kick there.
Aoki tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aoki avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nice body kick from Ames. Those never looked like landing. Aoki blocks a jab. Aoki lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Aoki connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Aoki connects with a leg kick. Ames looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Aoki slips a jab and a cross from Ames.
Aoki throws a wild body kick that Ames sees coming a mile off. We've been told by Aoki's head coaches at Hellfire Antechamber that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Michinori Aoki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ames.
Aoki is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ames. Ames throws a poor cross that misses
and Aoki counters with a slapping leg kick. You can see that Ames has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks Ames looks winded! Aoki throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Ames colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Aoki as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Ames is left battered and dazed whilst Aoki and his camp cheer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith walks into a straight right hand from Breznhev. Smith ducks under a wild hook from Breznhev. Breznhev lands with a good body shot. Breznhev slips a straight right by Smith. Breznhev half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Breznhev throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it. A nice side step and Smith releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Breznhev throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Smith comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Breznhev sees it coming and avoids it easily. Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Breznhev.

and Breznhev counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Breznhev lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Smith has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Breznhev uses his free foot to push down on Smith's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Smith. Breznhev tries to control but Smith wriggling away.
