Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between conchito gabaldon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). gabaldon's entrance music is tubthumping. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! gabaldon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pacquiao sprawls well. Pacquiao wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. gabaldon gets slowly back to his feet. gabaldon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pacquiao.
gabaldon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. gabaldon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pacquiao's head. Pacquiao controls gabaldon momentarily but gabaldon frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. gabaldon slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Pacquiao has his hands on gabaldon's head, controlling the position. Pacquiao looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. gabaldon trying to control the position from guard on top but Pacquiao is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. gabaldon is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pacquiao is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Pacquiao seems keen to control gabaldon's posture. gabaldon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. gabaldon wants to control from the top but Pacquiao keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pacquiao shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says gabaldon as he avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. gabaldon with a poor takedown and Pacquiao counters with a one-two to the body. gabaldon is breathing heavily. Pacquiao lands with a nice combination. gabaldon backs away looking to recover. gabaldon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pacquiao counters with a series of strikes. gabaldon will be more careful next time no doubt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for conchito gabaldon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pacquiao fails with the takedown and gabaldon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pacquiao's guard. Pacquiao looking for a sweep. Not yet Pacquiao, not yet. gabaldon wants to control from the top but Pacquiao keeps moving. Pacquiao is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst gabaldon is controlling him. Pacquiao will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Pacquiao is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. gabaldon sitting in guard, not really doing much. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pacquiao looking for a takedown here - he's got it. gabaldon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pacquiao controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. gabaldon has a closed guard, preventing Pacquiao from standing up. Pacquiao throws a big right hand that misses. Pacquiao decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on gabaldon, up you get! Pacquiao is looking to score with low kicks. That was a close round but I would say that conchito gabaldon will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. gabaldon trying to control the position from guard on top but Pacquiao is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. gabaldon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Pacquiao is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pacquiao looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Pacquiao performing his best blanket impression for a moment. That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. gabaldon kicks off Pacquiao and gets to his feet. Pacquiao closes the distance and pushes gabaldon back into the cage. Pacquiao tries to break free but gabaldon pushes him back against the cage. A nice left hand lands by gabaldon.
Pacquiao breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pacquiao fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pacquiao thuds his shin into the meat of gabaldon's side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pacquiao is looking to clinch. gabaldon blocks the body kick.
gabaldon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells gabaldon's corner. There ya go! There ya go! gabaldon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. gabaldon won't allow Pacquiao to sweep him here. Pacquiao has a closed guard, preventing gabaldon from standing up. conchito gabaldon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. gabaldon won't allow Pacquiao to get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. gabaldon landing with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pacquiao preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that conchito gabaldon will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

That's three minutes gone in the round. gabaldon is squirming around, avoiding Pacquiao's attempts to control the action. conchito gabaldon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pacquiao with the ground and pound from mount. gabaldon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Pacquiao looking to control but gabaldon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. gabaldon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if gabaldon tries to get out of the position. Pacquiao is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Kane looks to score with a jab to the body but Stark is just out of range. Kane goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kane misses with a low kick. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Felix Kane. Well Kane has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kynis tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kynis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Johnson connects with a body shot. Kynis slips a jab from Johnson. Johnson scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Johnson moves out of range as Kynis strikes. A shot to the body from Kynis misses and Johnson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kynis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kynis misses with a double jab
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Johnson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kynis is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Johnson scores with a sloppy right hand. Kynis should have avoided that one.
It looks like Keijo Kynis has been cut. Johnson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Johnson scores with a hook. Kynis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Johnson throws an overhand right that drops Kynis like a sack of potatoes! Johnson dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Stone does no damage. Babineaux throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stone sees it coming and avoids it easily. Stone fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stone misses with a few strikes there.
Babineaux keeps the fight on the outside. Keith Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone shoots for a double leg takedown but Babineaux sprawls well. He's pushed Stone's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Stone moves away from the strike by Babineaux . The fight stays on the outside here - Stone looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Babineaux uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Babineaux uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stone. Stone looks to score with a jab to the body but Babineaux is just out of range. Babineaux lands a left and a right that send Stone crashing to the mat, dazed. Babineaux thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

That's one minute gone in the round. Stone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stone is still on wobbly legs! Can Babineaux finish him? Stone closes the distance and clinches up with Babineaux , looking for a takedown. Stone pushes Babineaux against the cage but Babineaux circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wyatt Babineaux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keith Stone. Babineaux slaps away a takedown attempt from Stone, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stone wants to clinch up but Babineaux keeps it at a distance. Stone seems to have recovered his senses. Babineaux throws a jab but it's blocked by Stone. Stone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Babineaux counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Babineaux throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Stone looks to clinch and Babineaux counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Stone with a poor takedown and Babineaux counters with a crisp right that sends Stone to the canvas! Babineaux follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
