Al Qarni looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Scott is fending him off so far but Al Qarni persists. Nope, Scott circles away and we're back to standing. Scott half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Al Qarni changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Scott tries to avoid it but Al Qarni manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Scott to the ground. Scott escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Gary Tonon! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Tonon pushes Junior up against the cage in a clinch. Junior is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Tonon can't fight it off and eventually Junior manages to take the fight to the floor. Tonon looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
