The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Kaewsamrit pulls guard effortlessly.

Drago thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Drago drops back looking for a leg! Kaewsamrit is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kaewsamrit manages to kick Drago off! Drago jumps back into Kaewsamrit's guard.
Drago stays in close to Kaewsamrit's body and controls the position.
Drago is pushing down on Kaewsamrit's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kaewsamrit is fighting to maintain full guard but Drago has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Drago has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kaewsamrit defend it? Drago steps over the head and cranks it - Kaewsamrit is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Drago!

A relieved looking Condor Drago thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Kassab shoots for a double leg takedown but Keller sprawls well. He's pushed Kassab's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kassab fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Keller sprawls well initially but Kassab persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Kassab is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Keller is trying to maintain the position but Kassab is very close to passing his half guard.

Kassab is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Keller defends it well.

Kassab is trying for a kimura here. Keller looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Kassab wins by kimura!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Veli Schwarzeneg!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Ghost tries to close the distance and clinch up but Schwarzeneg swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ghost drives through and clinches with Schwarzeneg against the cage.
Ghost tries for a takedown but Schwarzeneg manages to get underhooks.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Schwarzeneg has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Schwarzeneg has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ghost avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Ghost tries to pull guard but Schwarzeneg holds him up against the cage and eventually Ghost drops back down to his feet.

Schwarzeneg has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ghost uses from the top position.

Ghost's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ghost is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ghost is looking to advance position but Schwarzeneg won't allow it.

Schwarzeneg has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ghost should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Schwarzeneg has tightened it up now! Ghost should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Truck is looking to clinch.

Humabon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Truck has escaped the position, nice work there.
Truck prevents Humabon from improving position.

The referee asks Humabon politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Humabon prefers to stall for the moment though.
Truck is trying to control Humabon's posture but Humabon avoids it.
Humabon has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Truck is desperately trying to improve his position but Humabon has a good base and remains in mount.
Truck might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Humabon works his way to his opponent's back.

Truck looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Humabon has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Truck is in real trouble here. Humabon gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Truck is tapping out! Humabon wins by rear naked choke!
