Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakkon Hakkonson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hakkonson has chosen Blashyrk as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Hakkonson. Hakkonson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Hakkonson throws a head kick that misses. Hakkonson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Hakkonson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Paul Taylor has been cut. Taylor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hakkonson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Taylor somewhat. Taylor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hakkonson was covering up waiting for the punch and Taylor finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Taylor thows a big elbow that misses. Hakkonson is looking for a triangle but Taylor pushes his legs off easily.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hakkonson for as long as he can get away with. Taylor slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Taylor wants to control the pace but Hakkonson is squirming around nicely. Taylor has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hakkonson's face.

That has opened up Hakkon Hakkonson's cut even more. Taylor throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hakkonson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Taylor thows a big elbow that misses. Taylor trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Taylor trying to control the position from guard on top but Hakkonson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Taylor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Taylor loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Taylor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hakkonson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Taylor is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hakkonson is breathing heavily. Hakkonson keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully. Taylor working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor works to advance to full mount. Hakkonson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. BOOM! Taylor connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Hakkon Hakkonson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hakkon Hakkonson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Copper, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Copper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Copper throws a head kick but Todd moves out of range.
Todd swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Copper counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Todd thinking. Todd digs a good hook to Copper's body.
Copper shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Copper showed some decent athleticism there. Copper wants to stand up but Todd is controlling the position.
Copper thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Todd's head. Copper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Todd keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Todd preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Copper is keen to just control but Todd is a slippery customer.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Copper walks into a stiff left hand from Todd.

Copper shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Todd napping and manages to drive through into side control! Todd tries to bench press Copper off him but Copper keeps the position. Todd manages to get back to half guard. Todd keeping control of the position. Todd pushes Copper off looking to stand but Copper dives back in and keeps control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Copper is trying desperately to improve position. Todd sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Todd raining down shots from the mount! Copper is trying desperately to improve position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Link Copper will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Todd throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy. Link Copper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

He's now in the guard on the top. Todd forces his way into half guard. Copper wants to improve his position but Todd is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Todd sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Copper is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Todd looking to control and managing it successfully. Todd lands a heavy elbow. Todd working Copper over with strikes here. Todd controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Todd lands a big shot there that rocks Copper but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Copper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Copper tries to get out of the position. Copper has left one of his arms exposed and Todd doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Copper screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

D is rocked! Carmelon lands with a good body shot. D is still on wobbly legs! Can Carmelon finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Carmelon wants to clinch up but D keeps it at a distance. D seems to have recovered his senses. D fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carmelon avoids it really well and circles away. Carmelon misses with a jab, cross combination.
D walks straight into a right hand from Carmelon - that's dropped him! Carmelon jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save D from any more punishment! D complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Holt moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. MacRally throws out a token jab with nothing on it. MacRally connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. MacRally moves into the clinch successfully.

MacRally walks into a left hand. Holt feints and then cracks MacRally's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow MacRally down. Holt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that MacRally can do to turn this around? MacRally is breathing heavily. A right-left combo lands from MacRally. Holt swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling MacRally to counter with a crisp jab. Holt throws a wild combination but nothing lands. MacRally changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holt tries to avoid it but MacRally manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holt to the ground. Holt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Holt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from MacRally.

and MacRally counters with a nice uppercut. Holt throws a right hand that MacRally ducks under and follows up with a left that MacRally also avoids with ease. MacRally throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Holt. Holt scores with the left hand. MacRally knows he should have avoided that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MacRally slips under a jab from Holt. Holt shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches MacRally napping and manages to drive through into side control! Holt looks up at the clock and then as MacRally takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Holt smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Holt around the waist but Holt pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Holt is the winner by TKO! Holt jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Let's see if Supreme can do anything to dispel that myth. Hide dominating with strikes here. Hide is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Supreme to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Supreme shrugs it off. Hide lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Supreme hang on? Supreme is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Supreme working to try and regain half guard.
Hide wants to finish this one by submission but Supreme is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hide. Hide unloads with some shots from mount but Supreme bucks and avoids them well.
