Oketch drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Putski manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Oketch has Putski in his guard. Oketch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Putski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oketch has managed to get both his arms back between Putski's legs - danger averted. Oketch has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Oketch prevents Putski from getting a body triangle. My spies in The Good the Bad and The Ugly inform me that Putski has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Oketch is really stuck here.

Dall has chosen Scarecrow as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Ryzen Dall! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Dall tries to clinch up but Burns circles away and keeps his distance. Burns gets in close and instigates a clinch. Burns has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dall uses from the top position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Dall wants to control from the top but Burns keeps moving.
