Get Off On The Pain - Gary Allan kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Holloway fails to land the takedown. Holloway with a poor takedown and Thomas holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Thomas is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Holloway. That's going to take a lot out of him. Holloway wants to take the fight to the mat but Thomas manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Thomas is pressed up against the cage.
