0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Sands! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith shoots in and drives through. Sands sprawls well. Smith displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sands throws out the jab. Smith fails to land the takedown. Smith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sands lands the left hand. Smith throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Carl Sands has been cut. Sloppy strikes from Sands. Those never looked like landing. Smith is looking to clinch but Sands is avoiding it.
Carl Sands seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sands bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smith 's head backwards. Smith shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sands as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugo Smith . That's going to take a lot out of him. Smith tries to lock up and control but Sands gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hugo Smith has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Carl Sands is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Sands can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Smith is looking to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Carl Sands comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sands has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gregory moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Gregory shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Coming eats them both and turns towards Gregory to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Gregory swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
An attempted straight right counter from Coming misses the target. Gregory tries to bum rush Coming with a series of wild strikes but Coming uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A counter left hand to the body from Coming misses its target. Gregory lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Gregory fails to land with a series of punches.

Coming was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. The fight stays on the outside here - Gregory looks like he's thinking about clinching though. This has been an exciting period of action! Gregory drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coming has Gregory pulled in close to control his posture. Gregory really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coming. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crowder lands with a shot to the body. Rhys Crowder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crowder lands with a good body shot. The crowd cheers as Crowder lands an impressive looking overhand right. Monk doesn't seem phased though. Monk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Crowder manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Monk tries to move into range but Crowder moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like William Monk has been cut. Monk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. It looked like Crowder was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Monk. Crowder scores with a shot to the body.
Crowder comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Crowder cracks Monk with a right hand to the side of the head. Crowder thuds his right hand into Monk's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crowder lands with a straight right. Monk didn't see that one coming. Crowder scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Monk moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Monk doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Monk takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Monk is rocked! Crowder connects with a body shot that sends Monk's belly button to the back. Monk is still on wobbly legs! Can Crowder finish him? Crowder throws an overhand right that drops Monk like a sack of potatoes! Crowder dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
