1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Khai Sius! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saitou darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sius makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Sius defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Saitou. Sius is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Saitou moves into the clinch. Sius is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sius escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Saitou leaning against his opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Welsh scores with a spinning back kick! Welsh uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Takayanagi. Welsh lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Takayanagi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Welsh. Welsh lands a leg kick that knocks Takayanagi off balance momentarily. Welsh lands with a nice body punch. Takayanagi has a takedown stuffed. Welsh tries a quick counter leg kick but Takayanagi is wise to it. A good leg kick by Takayanagi. Takayanagi misses with a wild body shot. Oooooooooooh, not good. Takayanagi tries to bum rush Welsh with a series of wild strikes but Welsh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Takayanagi swats away the attempt to clinch by Welsh. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Takayanagi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? Possibly, maybe, no Takayanagi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Welsh is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Meguru Takayanagi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takayanagi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Welsh sees it coming and avoids it easily. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holm throws a solid leg kick but Craven takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Holm. Craven changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Holm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Craven gets a clinch. Holm wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Craven breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Craven throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Holm takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Holm avoids a kick to the body.

You can see the frustration on Nakamura's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rekis keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Impallomeni. Impallomeni scores with a jab. Rekis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rekis working the ground and pound from side control. Rekis goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Impallomeni has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rekis but great work by Impallomeni. Impallomeni is trying to ground and pound but Rekis uses the momentary lack of control by Impallomeni to regain half guard. Impallomeni scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Impallomeni throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Impallomeni with the ground and pound but Rekis uses the opportunity to regain guard. Impallomeni lands a couple of elbows. Rekis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Impallomeni throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Impallomeni stands and throws Rekis's legs to the side, diving into side control. Rekis on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Impallomeni keeps trying to improve his position. Rekis landing strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Impallomeni is trying to get back to half guard. Impallomeni is still trying to improve position. Rekis tries to score with some ground and pound. Impallomeni controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Rekis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Impallomeni keeps working. Rekis landing a few strikes. Impallomeni regains half guard. Impallomeni wants to control but Rekis is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Rekis eventually gives up the hold. Rekis lands a big elbow - Impallomeni is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Rekis!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sigit with a poor takedown and Rauparaha cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rauparaha on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

and Rauparaha counters with a nice uppercut. Sigit gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rauparaha counters with a straight right hand. Sigit feints and as Rauparaha raises his hands in defense, Sigit changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sigit prevents Rauparaha from getting back to his feet. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sigit working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Sigit is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rauparaha is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rauparaha has escaped and now he's on top!

Rauparaha tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Sigit manages to circle out of the way. Te Rauparaha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Sigit. Sigit shoots and misses and Rauparaha counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sigit shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Sigit keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Kruiz tries to free his leg and advance position but Lopez Lopez is retaining full guard. Lopez Lopez wants to stand up but Kruiz is controlling him. Lopez Lopez keeping moving, preventing Kruiz from controlling successfully. Kruiz content to stall in guard here. Kruiz stops Lopez Lopez from standing up. That's three minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Kruiz moves into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kruiz controlling his opponent. Kruiz is continuing to stall. Lopez Lopez tries to buck Kruiz off but he can't manage it. Kruiz controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lopez Lopez wants to try and get back to his feet. Kruiz gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Kruiz on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Guywaun Lopez Lopez. I think Kruiz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spooge tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vini swats him away and circles back towards the center. Vini closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Loves To Spooge has been cut. Vini connects with an inside leg kick. Vini looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Spooge is looking to counter with a shot to the body. A low kick from Spooge misses and Vini counters with a straight right hand. Spooge tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vini manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Good exchange - Spooge coming out on top. Spooge jabs Vini right on the nose. Vini blinks but takes it well. I was talking to Spooge's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Spooge lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Vini slips a jab from Spooge. As Spooge backs off Vini throws a huge counter combo but Spooge manages to avoid it all.

Noted by the judges no doubt. Vini tries to land a front kick but Spooge steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Vini looks to score with a jab to the body but Spooge is just out of range. Vini takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. The fight stays on the outside here - Spooge looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vini has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Spooge. Vini tries for a takedown but Spooge sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Both fighters circling a little - Spooge finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Vini looks winded! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vini's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Spooge connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vini scrambles back to his feet. A head kick misses from Spooge. Crunch! Spooge slams his shin into Vini's torso. Spooge avoids a punch combination nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Loves To Spooge will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Vini on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Vini uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Spooge. Spooge finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Loves To Spooge is winning the standup battle so far. Spooge scores with a kick to the body.
Vini fails with a takedown attempt. Spooge lands an overhand right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spooge looking to land some kicks to the body here.

After the fight, Loves To Spooge was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
