Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, TJ Mcgregor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyrone Grant! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcgregor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mcgregor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Grant is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mcgregor off and has taken his back! Grant has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mcgregor has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Grant thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grant is persistently looking for the submission but Mcgregor is defending it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Grant has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mcgregor has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Mcgregor is having to fend off submission attempts from Grant, who is looking to sink in the choke. Grant doesn't have the hooks in though and Mcgregor manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard. Mcgregor postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcgregor controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Mcgregor is pushing down on Grant's leg trying to pass to half guard. Grant is fighting to maintain full guard but Mcgregor has managed to sneak the leg through. Grant is trying to control but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mcgregor is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Mcgregor controlling the position easily from mount. Mcgregor with the ground and pound from mount. Grant wants to hold on but Mcgregor pushes him away. Grant gets back to half guard. Grant is controlling Mcgregor's trapped leg to prevent Mcgregor from advancing to side control. Grant slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Grant is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mcgregor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgregor postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Grant is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mcgregor, into his guard. Grant working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mcgregor's head. Grant got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mcgregor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grant has managed to get both his arms back between Mcgregor's legs - danger averted. Grant looking to pass the guard. Mcgregor being controlled here, momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcgregor isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Grant stacks Mcgregor on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Grant! Mcgregor stops Grant from passing to mount. Grant wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcgregor keeps working. Grant remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Grant tries for a kimura but Mcgregor is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tyrone Grant will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Grant pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mcgregor is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grant with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Mcgregor is looking for a triangle but Grant pushes his legs off easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mcgregor keeping moving, preventing Grant from controlling successfully. Grant is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mcgregor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mcgregor has escaped and now he's on top!
Tyrone Grant has got the better of the ground game so far. Mcgregor gets to his feet - Grant follows without any prompting.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grant shoots in looking for a takedown. Mcgregor tries to sprawl out of it but Grant keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mcgregor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mcgregor stuns Grant with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mcgregor dives in and scores a takedown into Grant's guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Grant manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that TJ Mcgregor will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Mcgregor fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Grant to the ground. Mcgregor is now in Grant's guard. Mcgregor wants to control from the top but Grant keeps moving. Grant escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mcgregor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mcgregor distracts Grant with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mcgregor wants to control from the top but Grant keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcgregor slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Grant is looking to stand up but Mcgregor isn't so interested in that idea.

Grant manages to retain guard. Mcgregor wants to control from the top but Grant keeps moving. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mcgregor wants to pass the guard but Grant is keeping the position. Grant is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mcgregor content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Grant has locked up a guillotine! Grant's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Mcgregor is holding on here and Grant must be using up a lot of energy. Mcgregor has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Grant gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Light throws a series of punches but Turtle avoids them all with ease. Turtle shoots and misses and Light counters by moving into the clinch. Light decides to pull guard. Light looking for a guillotine here but Turtle defends easily.
Light is pulling down on Turtle's head. It's preventing any offense from Turtle, at least for the moment. Light lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turtle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Light is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turtle working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Light. Light throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Turtle works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Light with a flurry of punches that miss. Light controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Turtle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Light on the ground. Light passes easily into side control. Nice work. Light decides to stand back up. Light shoots in for a takedown but Turtle shows good takedown defense. Turtle lands a head kick. Light smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Light looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Light passes Turtle's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Light is taking a breather. Turtle says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Light passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Turtle! Light looking to control and managing it successfully. Turtle tries to lock up and control but Light gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Turtle is breathing heavily. Light looking to control and managing it successfully.

Light stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Light looks for a takedown but Turtle sprawls well. Turtle throws a sloppy head kick and Light moves out of range easily. A big right from Turtle misses. Turtle fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Light has a takedown stuffed. Frankie Turtle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Copper Light. Light shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Light was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Turtle tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Light scores with punches from the back.

Light shoots in looking for a takedown but Turtle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Light's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Turtle fails with the takedown and Light counters with a crisp one two that drops Turtle! Light thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Turtle to his feet! Turtle is in big trouble!
Turtle is rocked! Turtle throws a sloppy head kick and Light moves out of range easily. Oh Turtle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Light drives through with a takedown into guard. Turtle wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Light manages to pass to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Light lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Light working Turtle over with strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Light gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Light drives through with a takedown into guard. Turtle is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Light dives into side control.

Light decides to take the fight back to the feet. Turtle seems to have got his legs back now. Light bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Light working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Light stands up. Light fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Turtle, pushing him back against the cage. Light working Turtle over with knees to the body. Light manages to break the clinch.
Light darts in and clinches Turtle up against the cage. Light has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Light jumps guard and drags Turtle to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Light lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Light seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Light slips nicely into half guard. Turtle has hold of Light's hands but Light slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Light takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Light is working for a submission of some sort.
Light has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Light performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Light is working for a kimura but Turtle is defending it quite comfortably.

Copper Light showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kulina throws a right and a left that both miss. Coi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Coi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kulina counters with a slapping leg kick. Kulina wants to clinch up but Coi keeps it at a distance. Coi looks like he wants to counter punch here. Coi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kulina defends well and Coi ends up having to push Kulina into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Nice takedown defense from Kulina. No joy for Coi on that attempt. Coi with a nice cross. Kulina shoots in for a takedown but Coi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nice jab there from Coi. Kulina looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Coi! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Coi wants to get back to his feet. Kulina tries to move into full mount but can't pass Coi's legs. Coi is pushing Kulina's head away, looking to escape. Kulina manages to hold on to the position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kulina staying calm. Kulina cracks Coi with a big right hand but Coi just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Kulina decides to stand up, so the ref orders Coi to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kulina. Kulina clinches up against the cage. A short left from Coi. Kulina misses with a short punch on the inside. Coi presses Kulina against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Coi pushes off an throws an elbow but Kulina leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Coi fails to land. Coi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kulinas head.

Coi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kulina defends well and Coi ends up having to push Kulina into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Coi throws a hook but Kulina blocks it. Kulina seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Coi lands a right hook to the body.
Coi darts in looking for a takedown but Kulina gets double underhooks and turns Coi into the cage. Kulina drives through with a takedown into Coi's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kulina working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Coi's head. Kulina is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Coi pushes Kulina off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Coi thuds his right hand into Kulina's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

He's got his arms around Kulina's waist but Kulina gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coi off to one side. Jay Kulina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dung Coi. Kulina looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Coi! Coi pushes Kulina away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kulina gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Coi is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Kulina wants to lay and pray for a moment but Coi keeps working. Coi wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coi bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Coi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kulina. Kulina tries to clinch up. Kulina shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coi as he jumps to the side. A lazy left from Coi finds it's target. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kulina takes one on the button. Coi shoots in for a double leg but Kulina sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Coi dives in for a single leg takedown but Kulina sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kulina closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kulina lands in his opponent's guard. Kulina controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coi kicks Kulina off and gets to his feet. Nice takedown defense from Kulina. No joy for Coi on that attempt. As Coi tries to get set, Kulina tries to push him back and clinch up but Coi manages to avoid the attempt. Dung Coi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Coi misses with a shot to the body and Kulina cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kulina moves into the clinch. Coi misses with a short punch on the inside. Kulina breaks from the clinch.
Kulina tries for a takedown but Coi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Coi scores with a hook to the body. Kulina takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Coi dives in for a single leg takedown but Kulina sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Coi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kulina as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kulina.
Kulina stuffs the takedown attempt from Coi. Coi gets slowly back to his feet. Kulina shoots in for a takedown but Coi shows good takedown defense. Kulina takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kulina on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kulina. Jay Kulina is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kulina tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coi swivels and escapes. Coi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Kulina keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Coi lands a glancing blow to the side of Kulina's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Dung Coi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Coi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Green throws a push kick but Two slaps the foot to one side. Green changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Two tries to avoid it but Green manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Two to the ground. Two escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Two swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Two blocks a leg kick. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Two! But no joy. Two darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Two dives in and grabs Green's left leg, looking for a takedown. Green pushes down on Two's head and hops out. Two throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Two throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Green counters with a three punch combo that has Two backing up. Two nods at Green to acknowledge the strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Green swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Two is looking to clinch.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Purple Aki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cung Fe! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fe has time to react. Aki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fe under the eye. Horrible takedown attempt by Fe or perhaps it was just good defense by Aki, which made it look bad. Aki is looking to counter punch. Fe takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fe misses with a wild body shot. Fe throws a shot from downtown. Aki moves away and avoids it. Aki throwing a counter right hand but Fe manages to avoid it. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Aki, as that shot connected.
A cross from Aki lands. Fe with a poor takedown letting Aki counter with a right hand. Fe throws a lazy uppercut
and Aki counters with a stiff right hand. Aki stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fe misses with a takedown attempt and Aki counters with a right hand to the body. Purple Aki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cung Fe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fe misses with a body shot.
Fe fails with the takedown enabling Aki to counter with a crisp jab. Fe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A little feinted left hand from Aki on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Aki sizes up Fe with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. A punch lands to the side of Fe 's head but he takes it in his stride. Aki lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Aki is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Fe shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Aki is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Aki connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Fe fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aki lands with a hook. Fe tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Purple Aki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A big left from Aki misses. Cung Fe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Aki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Aki scores with a decent looking hook. Fe misses with a takedown and Aki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fe is rocked! Aki circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Fe tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Aki wins by KO!
