The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCullen swings widly with a right hand
and Akharraz counters with a crisp one two that drops McCullen! Akharraz thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves McCullen to his feet! McCullen is in big trouble! McCullen misses with a looping left. Akharraz lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. McCullen avoids a kick to the body.
McCullen throws out a loose jab but Akharraz uses good head movement to avoid it. McCullen sets himself, and Akharraz steps forward looking for the clinch! McCullen avoids it this time. The fight stays on the outside here - McCullen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Eion McCullen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McCullen looks to clinch and Akharraz counters with a series of strikes that really hurt McCullen! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan has a takedown stuffed. Jordan fails with a takedown attempt. Jordan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jordan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Vermeer's calf. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Vermeer. Jordan shrugs it off though. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Vermeer - that will leave a mark!

Jordan shoots for a takedown but Vermeer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Vermeer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jordan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Vermeer wants to control but Jordan postures up. Jordan trying to control the position but Vermeer is working away. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Vermeer parries the strikes from Jordan easily there. Jordan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Vermeer to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vermeer throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Jordan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vermeer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jordan somewhat. Vermeer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jordan can do to turn this around? Jordan walks forward, straight into a front kick from Vermeer. Vermeer delivers a nice body kick. Jordan has a takedown stuffed. Vermeer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jordan. That did some damage!
And that's the end of the fight! Marco Vermeer showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vermeer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Yamada advances to half guard. Yamada throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Yamada tries to pass the half guard into mount. McBoatFace knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. McBoatFace's coaches at Cylon Training Academy have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Yamada passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for McBoatFace! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Yamada is going oldschool here, as he tries to force McBoatFace to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so McBoatFace shrugs it off. Yamada is working for a guillotine from mount but McBoatFace frees his head quite easily.

Yamada has managed to slip his arm under McBoatFace's chin. This could be all over... yep, McBoatFace is tapping out! Submission win for Yamada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ulusoy avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Judah ducks under a wild hook from Ulusoy. Judah is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Judah thuds his right hand into Ulusoy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Ulusoy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
