The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leeroy misses with a right hand and Downem decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Leeroy's guard. Downem won't allow Leeroy to sweep him here. Downem stands up from Leeroy's guard - Downem perhaps looking for a knockout. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Leeroy, right into the meat.
Bruce Leeroy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Downem takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Takem Downem has been cut. Downem swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Leeroy cracks Downem with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Leeroy throws a hook to the side of Downem's head but Downem sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Leeroy stuns Downem with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Leeroy drops Downem with a naaaaasty hook - Downem is in real trouble here! Leeroy dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Leeroy! Bruce Leeroy really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Firebird Designs logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White fails with a takedown attempt. White misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Smith connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between White's hands. White gets tackled into the cage by Smith. Smith maintains the clinch. A right hand to the body from Smith.
White tries a body shot but Smith blocks it.
White escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
White keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Smith. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith slips a straight right by White. Smith tries to clinch there but White circles away.
White uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith. A right-left combo lands from Smith. Left hook, right uppercut from White.
That's one minute gone in the round. White takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Smith misses the jab. White shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smith's guard. White not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. White with a nice head shot there. Smith pulls White in to control the position. White trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. White preventing the sweep. Smith is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Bonsai Club MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Smith being controlled here, momentarily. Smith wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Smith pulls White in close to his closed guard and prevents White from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Smith cracks White with a good jab. White moves into the clinch. White tries to work over Smith's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Smith breaks from the clinch.
White lands with a nice combination. Smith backs away looking to recover. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. White avoids the head kick by Smith.
A punch lands to the side of White 's head but he takes it in his stride. Smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
White throws a left that rocks Smith and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! White dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Smith regain composure!
Smith is rocked!
It looks like Mike Smith has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big shot lands for White! That's hurt Smith! Will he recover? White fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynn connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Bosh misses with a lunging right hand
and Lynn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bosh throws a hook but Lynn avoids it easily. It seemed like Lynn was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Bosh swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lynn counters by clinching up. Lynn is trying to break the clinch but Bosh is controlling him. Lynn lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Bosh breaks the clinch.
Lynn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bosh. Lynn misses with a leg kick. Bosh cracks a nice hook into Lynn's ribs. Chris Bosh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bosh missing with a left hand there. Lynn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bosh misses with a looping right. Bosh throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lynn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bosh thinking. Bosh fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lynn on the side of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Lynn on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lynn connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bosh momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bosh misses with a takedown attempt and Bosh takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bosh swings widly with a right hand
and Lynn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lynn throws a leg kick which misses Bosh's front leg but catches the back leg as Bosh tries to avoid it. Lynn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bosh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bosh fails with the takedown and Lynn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bosh is rocked! Lynn is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Bosh flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bosh is out cold! Lynn holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beijer tries to bum rush Pouncey with a series of wild strikes but Pouncey uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pouncey lands a slapping body shot.
Pouncey uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Beijer has time to react. Pouncey stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Pouncey scores with a jab to the head.

That did some damage! Beijer clinches up with Pouncey and pushes him back against the cage. Beijer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pouncey gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hans Beijer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pouncey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pouncey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

He's pushed Beijer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A big left from Pouncey misses. Beijer is looking to counter with a shot to the body. An inside leg kick from Pouncey misses. Pouncey tries to bum rush Beijer with a series of wild strikes but Beijer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A telegraphed right hand from Pouncey misses the target. Pouncey takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Beijer throws a push kick but Pouncey slaps the foot to one side. A head kick misses from Beijer. Pouncey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Beijer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Beijer shoots in but Pouncey avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pouncey slips under a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beijer looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Beijer takes one to the side of the head.
Beijer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Beijer gets caught flat footed, as Pouncey shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Pouncey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pouncey trying to control the position from guard on top but Beijer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pouncey missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Pouncey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Beijer is keeping the position for now. Pouncey keeps trying to improve his position. Pouncey loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tucker crunches a lovely knee into Margera's ribcage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Tucker lands a hook that snaps the head of Margera backwards. Margera using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Tucker has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Tucker lands a shoulder strike. Tucker lands with a right to the head. Tucker can't find room to land a body shot as Margera controls the action.
Tucker lands with a short head shot on the inside. Tucker lands a knee to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Margera creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JJ Tucker clearly takes that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tucker scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Tucker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Tucker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Margera.
Tucker takes the fight into the clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Margera. Margera throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Tuckers head. Margera working aggressively here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Tucker scores a nice knee to the body.
Tucker is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Margera's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Tucker lands a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tucker tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Tucker's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Margera effectively controlling the action here. Tucker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Tucker is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Margera pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tucker missing with a left hand there. Margera was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Tucker misses with a straight left. Margera on the wrong end of a nice jab. Margera tries a head kick but it misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tucker sizes up Margera with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Tucker looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Margera bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Margera tries a quick counter leg kick but Tucker is wise to it. A left and a right from Tucker both land. Nice combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tucker with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tucker lands a jab to Margera's midsection. Tucker dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Margera throws a good cross that connects.
Tucker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Some bone on bone action there as Tucker checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Tucker seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. The fighters circle momentarily. Margera darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Margera closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Margera throws the left hand but Tucker avoids the punch easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tucker just misses with a punch to the body.
Margera moves out of range of the strikes. Tucker connects with a single shot there. Tucker swings and misses with a shot to the body and Margera counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Margera throws a jab but it's blocked by Tucker. Margera tests Tucker's chin there with a solid looking shot. Margera avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tucker throws a leg kick and Margera scores with a counter punch that sends Tucker to the canvas! Margera smells blood - he's punishing Tucker with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Tucker has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
