Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Adabisi gets tackled into the cage by Rad. Rad maintains the clinch. Adabisi pulls guard effortlessly. Adabisi keeping moving, preventing Rad from controlling successfully. Adabisi wants to sweep here but Rad controlling him for the moment. Adabisi has Rad pulled in close to control his posture. Rad looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rad trying to control but Adabisi is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rad is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Rad is looking to take a break and control but Adabisi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Adabisi tries to get to full guard but Rad has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adabisi preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Rad prevents Adabisi from improving his position. Rad wants to lay and pray for a moment but Adabisi keeps working. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rad in particular looking to stall.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Rad is looking to advance position but Adabisi won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rad performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Rad is keen to just control but Adabisi is a slippery customer. Rad is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Adabisi preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Adabisi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Adabisi is staying active underneath Rad, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Adabisi is doing well to control the position and prevent Rad from advancing to side control. Rad controlling the action here.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Adabisi is positioning himself well to prevent Rad advancing to mount. Adabisi tries to get to full guard but Rad has control of the leg. Rad trying to mount his opponent but Adabisi defends it. Rad perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Rad's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Rad is looking to advance position but Adabisi won't allow it. Rad sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Rad is looking to pass Adabisi's guard but actually Adabisi recovers to full guard. Adabisi keeping moving, preventing Rad from controlling successfully. Rad pushes down on Adabisi's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rad is trying to control the action in half guard but Adabisi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Rad is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Rad looking to sit in guard and control but Adabisi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Adabisi continues to stall. Rad keeping full guard, as Adabisi tries to pass.

Rad wants to control the position but Adabisi says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Still in half guard, Adabisi seems content to control.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Adabisi prevents Rad from improving his position. Adabisi trying to advance position but Rad counters by regaining guard. Adabisi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. More hug and hope from Adabisi. Adabisi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Rad has his hands on Adabisi's head, controlling the position. Adabisi looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
