0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darren Burns! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunn closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Burns's guard. Burns is looking to stand back up but Dunn counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Burns. Burns trying to control but Dunn postures up.
Burns wants to get back to full guard but Dunn has mounted him! Dunn can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Burns is looking to escape. Dunn has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Burns's face.
Dunn wants to control the pace but Burns is squirming around nicely. Burns flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Dunn is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Burns can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Dunn with shots to the head and body - Burns looks very uncomfortable down there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dunn breaks from Burns's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Burns is rocked! Burns wants to control but Dunn is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Dunn. Burns bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Dunn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Burns is one step ahead there. Burns pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dunn is keeping the position for now. Dunn pulls Burns in close to prevent any damage. Dunn wants to stand and escape but Burns is having none of it.

Dunn is in close to Burns's body, working some short punches and elbows. Burns is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Dunn presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Dunn gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Burns regains guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dunn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dunn trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom. Dunn is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Dunn sitting in guard, not really doing much. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dunn keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Burns's head. Dunn postures up.

Dunn looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Dunn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Burns's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Burns gets caught napping as Dunn dives in and scores a takedown. Burns manages to retain guard. Dunn is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Burns working a defensive guard but Dunn manages to pass into side control anyway.
Dunn creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Dunn grinds an elbow into Burns's temple. Burns is looking to regain half guard here but Dunn keeps moving and retains side control. Dunn scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Burns to see if he's OK. Burns is still in real trouble! Can Dunn finish him? Burns takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simenkov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Simenkov misses with a takedown and Yakimyuk counters with a nice uppercut. No joy there for Yakimyuk, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Simenkov's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Yakimyuk before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

and Axelsson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Johan Axelsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Axelsson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zepp was well out of range. Poor timing from Axelsson. Zepp uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Axelsson.

Axelsson throws a looping overhand right but Zepp ducks down to avoid it. Axelsson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Zepp. Zepp throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Axelsson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Zepp throws a body kick that misses and Axelsson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Zepp's guard. Axelsson distracts Zepp with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Zepp wants to get back to his feet but Axelsson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Axelsson lands a couple of decent looking shots. Axelsson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Johan Axelsson has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd cheers as Zepp lands an impressive looking overhand right. Axelsson doesn't seem phased though. Zepp fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Axelsson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Zepp throws a body shot but no joy. Zepp will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
