Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Lefleaur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polo has chosen On The Floor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

44 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gordon Lefleaur! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marco Polo! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Polo motions for Lefleaur to come forward. Polo throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Polo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lefleaur jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Lefleaur lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Polo swings widly with a right hand
and Lefleaur counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've been informed that Polo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Polo tries for a takedown but Lefleaur circles away easily and Lefleaur counters with a straight right hand. Polo throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Lefleaur counters with a nice uppercut. Marco Polo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Polo walks into a left hand. Polo avoids the head kick by Lefleaur.
Lefleaur swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A lazy body kick from Polo enabling Lefleaur to counter with a crisp jab. Lefleaur really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Polo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Marco Polo has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lefleaur takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

That's one minute gone in the round. Polo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lefleaur. A jab from Lefleaur finds it's way through Polo's defenses. Polo fails with the takedown. Polo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Polo is looking to clinch. An attempted straight right counter from Lefleaur misses the target. Polo throws a right hand that misses
and Lefleaur counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Polo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lefleaur throws out the jab. A little jabbing left from Polo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Polo throws a leg kick and Lefleaur connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Polo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lefleaur looks to throw the jab but Polo is out of range. Polo looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Lefleaur has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Polo is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Polo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lefleaur throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A swing and a miss from Lefleaur. Polo dives in for a single leg takedown but Lefleaur sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Gordon Lefleaur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Polo. The fight stays on the outside here - Polo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Polo closes the distance but Lefleaur moves to the side and Lefleaur counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Polo fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Polo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lefleaur. That did some damage! Lefleaur is looking to land body kicks. Lefleaur pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Polo scores with a head kick.
Polo throws out a leg kick but Lefleaur moves out of range and Polo only half commits. A momentary lapse in concentration from Lefleaur enables Polo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lefleaur manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Polo stands up from guard. Let's bang! Lefleaur scores with a head kick. Polo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Polo shoots and misses and Lefleaur counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Polo throws the kick towards the body but Lefleaur avoids it. Polo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lefleaur's waist but Lefleaur gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Polo off to one side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Polo tries for a takedown but Lefleaur circles away easily and Lefleaur counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Polo thows a leg kick but Lefleaur checks it and Lefleaur connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gordon Lefleaur is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Polo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lefleaur, pushing him back against the cage. Polo tries to land a knee to the head but Lefleaur blocks with his arms.
Lefleaur breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Polo misses with a takedown and Lefleaur cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Polo throws a head kick that misses. Polo with a poor takedown and Lefleaur counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lefleaur misses with an uppercut
and Polo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Polo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lefleaur is controlling Polo's position as best he can from this difficult position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Polo is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A head kick misses from Polo. Polo tries to clinch and Lefleaur makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Polo gets off balance looking for a body kick and Lefleaur counters with a straight right hand. Polo is still on wobbly legs! Can Lefleaur finish him? Polo has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Polo tries to clinch but fails miserably and Lefleaur counters with a straight right hand. Lefleaur sizes up Polo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Polo throws a combination that misses and Lefleaur counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lefleaur dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Polo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lefleaur as he jumps to the side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Polo defending well as Lefleaur loads up on a big left hand. Polo seems to have recovered his senses. Lefleaur misses with a head kick.
Polo throws a head kick that misses and Polo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Polo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Polo throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Polo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Polo wants to clinch but Lefleaur slips to the side and Lefleaur counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lefleaur tests Polo's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fighters circle, before Lefleaur throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Polo's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Lefleaur lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzalez blocks a head kick by Kallio.

Kallio thuds his shin into the meat of Gonzalez's side. Gonzalez is looking to land body kicks. Kallio attempts a counter takedown but Gonzalez avoids it well and moves away. Kallio feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Gonzalez looking for a guillotine here but Kallio defends easily.
Gonzalez pulls Kallio in close to prevent any damage. Kallio throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kallio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kallio working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gonzalez's head. Kallio trying to control the position from guard on top but Gonzalez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kallio is looking to work some ground and pound but Gonzalez has wrist control. Kallio stands and throws Gonzalez's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gonzalez tries to bench press Kallio off him but Kallio keeps the position. Kallio tries for a kimura but Gonzalez is defending well. Kallio tries to move to mount but Gonzalez blocks the move with his legs.

Gonzalez tries to buck Kallio off but Kallio is having none of it. Kallio sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gonzalez is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Gonzalez tries to bench press Kallio off him but Kallio keeps the position. Kallio trying to control the position but Gonzalez is working away. Gonzalez sneaks back into half guard. Kallio works his way into side control. Kallio looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Gonzalez gets back to half guard. Kallio wants to pass the guard but Gonzalez is defending well. Gonzalez works his way to full guard. Good work. Kallio pushing down on Gonzalez's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kallio looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gonzalez with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kallio connects with a nice short shot to Gonzalez's temple. Kallio wants to pass the guard but Gonzalez is defending well.

Gonzalez taking some punishment here, with Kallio in his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Gonzalez looks for the body kick but Kallio saw that one coming. Kallio needs to keep his hands up - Gonzalez had a free shot at his head there. Kallio misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kallio pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gonzalez back to the cage. Kallio follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. A decent looking body kick lands there for Gonzalez. Kallio lands a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gonzalez takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kallio misses with a head kick.

Kallio scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A jab from Kallio finds it's way through Gonzalez's defenses. Kallio lands a nice looking body kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Gonzalez.

Kallio crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gonzalez - the referee stops the clock and Kallio gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gonzalez. Kallio manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kallio takes a shot right to the bread basket. Gonzalez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kallio. Kallio looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Gonzalez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kallio's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kallio's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez keeps control of the position as Kallio tries to break free.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
You can see the frustration on Kallio's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tino Kallio. Well Kallio has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Madison gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gracie. Madison moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Gracie comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Decent striking displayed by Madison there.
It looks like Holden Gracie has been cut. Gracie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savolainen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Norris Jr! Savolainen controls the position from side control. Norris Jr is looking to regain half guard here but Savolainen keeps moving and retains side control. The referee asks Savolainen politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Savolainen prefers to stall for the moment though. Chandler gets off balance looking for a body kick and Dekkers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A cross from Chandler lands. Good leg kick by Chandler there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
