Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackie Douthit!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettigrew rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Douthit throws a big elbow that misses.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by Douthit or perhaps it was just good defense by Pettigrew, which made it look bad.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Douthit holds on and takes a little breather.
Douthit has momentary wrist control but Pettigrew slips an elbow through the middle.

Granes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lincoln was well out of range. Poor timing from Granes.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Lincoln throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Granes takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Lincoln looks to land a body kick but Granes moved away.
Granes shoots in looking for a takedown. Lincoln tries to sprawl out of it but Granes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lincoln manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Granes dives in for a single leg takedown but Lincoln sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Granes tries for a takedown but Lincoln sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lincoln lands a big head kick that sends Granes to the canvas! Lincoln follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
