Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Artem Korotkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayde West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). West comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sober kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and West wants it to stay on the feet.
Korotkov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. West tries to avoid it but Korotkov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag West to the ground. West escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A combination from Korotkov does no damage.
Korotkov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Korotkov there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nice sprawl there from West as Korotkov shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Artem Korotkov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
West throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Korotkov is breathing heavily.

West feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Korotkov sprawling to the canvas! Korotkov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can West finish him?!

Korotkov is rocked!

It looks like Artem Korotkov has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
West is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Korotkov flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Korotkov is out cold! West holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

A very excited looking Wayde West rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
