The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angier lands with a good body shot.

Angier is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Zinith presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Zinith has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Cares has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gatto clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Cares is trying to stick to Gatto's back but Gatto is turning into Cares. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cares's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Gatto.

Gatto drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cares manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gatto has Cares in his guard.
