Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marco Nunez!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mauler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nunez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nunez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nunez wants it to stay on the feet.
Nunez throws a counter combo.
Nunez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mauler could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Mauler closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Nunez tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Nunez is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mauler gets his way!
